Marko Pjaca to leave Juventus for Schalke

Juventus winger Marko Pjaca is on his way to join Schalke at their mid-season training camp in Benidorm after a six-month loan deal was agreed between the clubs.

Croatia international Pjaca, 22, has not featured for Juve this season, having suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in March.

Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel told the Bundesliga side's official website: "We have already agreed everything and all the documents are with Juventus and the player's management.

"It's even possible that he could stay longer than just until the end of the season. We have not ruled that out but it is not fixed in the contracts."
