Wigan winger Nathan Byrne has signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal with the Sky Bet Championship club.
The 26-year-old, Latics’ double player of the year last season, will remain at the DW Stadium until at least the summer of 2021, the club announced on their official website.
“Nathan has been an important player for us in my time here and I’m pleased that he can continue to progress with Wigan Athletic,” said boss Paul Cook.
