Early goals from Demy de Zeeuw and Stein Huysegems inspired AZ Alkmaar to a comfortable 3-0 win over RKC Waalwijk in the Dutch first division on Sunday. Shota Arveladze set up midfielder De Zeeuw after seven minutes to open the scoring, while Belgian Huysegems doubled the lead nine minutes later.

Gretar Steinsson sealed the win after 63 minutes and steered his side back to the top with 38 points after 16 matches.
PSV Eindhoven, who beat lowly Willem II Tilburg 4-1 on Saturday, also have 38 points but an inferior goal difference.
Spanish defender Alberto Saavedra headed home after 78 minutes to seal a 2-1 win for ADO Den Haag over Feyenoord.
Geert den Ouden opened the scoring for ADO in the second minute from the penalty spot but midway through the second half Salomon Kalou equalised for the visitors at the far post.
Feyenoord, who dominated the match but missed some good chances, are third in the table with 35 points, while ADO climbed to 13th with 18 points.
Ajax Amsterdam beat NAC 2-0 in Breda, their third consecutive win, to move to fourth with 27 points.
Swede Markus Rosenberg opened the scoring six minutes before the interval on the counter attack, while Wesley Sneijder settled the issue 10 minutes from time handed after a Rosenberg shot was blocked.
NEC Nijmegen dropped to fifth after a 3-0 defeat by Groningen who were playing their farewell match in the Oosterpark stadium, their home since 1933.
Glen Salmon scored twice against goalkeeper Gabor Babos, who had not conceded a goal for 693 minutes, and Mark Jan Fledderus added a third in stoppage time.
In January Groningen will move into their new Euroborg stadium.
