Alkmaar level with PSV

AZ Alkmaar overcame an own goal from Martijn Meerdink to beat Twente Enschede 3-1 on Saturday. The win allowed Alkmaar to draw level with first division leaders PSV Eindhoven, who have a game in hand, on 35 points after 15 matches.

Belgian Stein Huysegems struck on the rebound 20 minutes into the second half to equalise, while Danny Koevermans handed Alkmaar the lead six minutes later. Dutch international Denny Landzaat sealed the win for AZ in in the final minute.
PSV travel to third-placed Feyenoord on Sunday, while fifth-placed Vitesse Arnhem host struggling Ajax Amsterdam, who trail the league leaders by 14 points and are ninth.
NEC Nijmegen stay fourth with 27 points following their 1-0 win at Roda JC Kerkrade on Friday. Tom Caluwe and two goals from Anouar Hadouir gave lowly Willem II Tilburg a 3-0 lead at Heerenveen after 26 minutes.
But Arnold Bruggink pulled one back for the home side five minutes before the interval and striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar levelled the match midway through the second half with two goals in four minutes.
ADO Den Haag secured a 3-0 win over bottom side RBC Roosendaal.
