Kylian Mbappe is hoping to take part in this summer's Olympic Games for France, but insists he will "do what I'm told", with the decision likely to lie with his parent club at the time. That is expected to be Real Madrid, who look set to sign Mbappe once his current deal with Paris Saint-Germain expires on June 30. The 25-year-old is enjoying another superb individual campaign with the Parisians.

Kylian Mbappe is targeting a place at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with France, but admits the decision is out of his hands.
Mbappe will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the expiration of his contract on June 30 and is widely expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
However, the France captain believes outside influences may deny him the chance to compete at a home Olympic Games.
“I have always had the same ambition: the Olympics in Paris are special,” said Mbappe in a press conference ahead of France's friendly with Germany on Saturday.
“I have always said that I wanted to be there but that does not depend on me. My ambition hasn't changed. The decision still belongs to the same person. I can't say anything, I haven't been told yes or no. "
The 25-year-old has always been notoriously tight-lipped over his future and when pressed who would be making that decision, he replied: “PSG is the club with which I am under contract.”
But with Mbappe widely expected to be a Los Blancos player by the time the Olympics begin, the final call could be made by the Spanish giants.
"I have arrived at a point in my career where I take a step back: if I go there [to the Olympics], I will live a dream awake. And if I don't, I'll accept and do what I'm told."
Mbappe is certainly ending his time at the Parc des Princes with a bang after scoring 38 goals in 37 games across all competitions for PSG, including a hat-trick in a 6-2 win over Montpellier on March 17.
One would have thought that Mbappe's impending move to the Spanish capital would have Barcelona reeling in jealousy.
That's not the case according to their club president Joan Laporta.
When asked if he was at all envious of the move, Laporta replied in an interview with Mundo Deportivo: "No, not at all.
“Also, I don't know if they will or won't. We'll see.
“[If they do] they have a problem there. You have to sell a player [if Mbappe arrives], right? Because they are not both going to play in the same place and they are also very marked players.”
