Sanchez wants out

Alexis Sanchez wants to leave Manchester United following Jose Mourinho’s latest snub, the Mirror reports. The Chilean forward was left out of the squad entirely for Tuesday’s Champions League match at home to Young Boys, and that has reportedly left Sanchez – earning £500k a week – itching for a move away from Old Trafford.
Paper Round’s view: It has been a truly awful 2018 for Sanchez, and his spell at United makes even Angel Di Maria’s seem not that bad in comparison. Both Sanchez and United would have to accept a financial loss if he moves on – they may well both deem that worthwhile.

Chelsea eye Isco

Following Isco’s fallout with manager Santiago Solari at Real Madrid, the Express claims Chelsea are considering a January move for the Spanish midfielder. Isco’s relationship with Solari has been described as a ‘time bomb’ by outlets in Spain, with Isco not even making the bench for Tuesday’s win over Roma.
Paper Round’s view: You’d imagine Chelsea would face stiff competition if Isco were available. It’s still early doors with Solari, though, so there’s plenty of time to kiss and make up.

Hudson-Odoi off to Germany?

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich in The Sun. The England U17 World Cup winner has 18 months left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, but could be tempted by a move abroad with Jadon Sancho currently impressing at Borussia Dortmund, so too Reiss Nelson, who is on loan at Hoffenheim from Arsenal.
Paper Round’s view: The exploits of Sancho and Nelson in Germany means plenty of young players will be scratching their heads as we approach the January transfer window, particularly if they are watching on from the sidelines, be it on the bench or away from the matchday squads. Bayern would be tough to break into, though, so Hudson-Odoi should choose his move wisely if he wants regular first-team football.

Doucoure to Everton?

Former Watford manager Marco Silva has his eyes on another player from his old club, with the Mirror claiming the Everton boss is keen on midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure. Having played a key role in Watford’s impressive start to the Premier League season, Silva is hoping to tempt him over to join him and Richarlison at Goodison Park.
Paper Round’s view: It worked with Richarlison when everyone scoffed, so why not Doucoure. Doubtful it will cost them £40-50m, either.
