While a new prince dominates the front pages, the focus switches to the Egyptian King on the back as Liverpool prepare to face Roma on Tuesday.

‘Watch out, Mo!’

Yes indeed. SEVEN newspapers (we’ll only post evidence of two, don’t worry) have gone with the same Mohamed Salah picture – a sure-fire sign that the biggest talking point in sport on Tuesday is the winger facing his old club in the Champions League semi-final first leg at Anfield.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has warned Salah that his former team-mates will target him, but expects the Egyptian to show his class against the Serie A outfit.
Paper Round’s view: It’s Tuesday’s battle: Salah v Roma’s defence. Can the 25-year-old leave them in ruins before the return leg? The focus is unsurprisingly on Salah going into Tuesday’s clash, but ignore Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane at your peril. That being said, Roma will hope to have a few tricks up their sleeves as they chase that all-important away goal. Expect fireworks – hopefully not aimed at the Roma bus on the way in…

£50m for new Arsenal manager

The new Arsenal manager will have £50m to spend on players in the summer, the Telegraph reports. With Arsene Wenger set to leave the club at the end of the season, focus has switched to who could replace the Frenchman at the Emirates. This latest revelation proves that spending big won’t be on the agenda for whoever is tasked with lifting Arsenal back up the Premier League table.
Paper Round’s view: It’s, er, not much, is it? Yes it’s £50m and yes certain clubs would love to have that amount to spend – but it’s nothing for a club with title aspirations. And yes you can laugh at the prospect of Arsenal having such lofty dreams, but there’s no denying the club’s board want to mount a serious challenge. With just £50m, that won’t be possible.

TAA part of Keita deal?

RB Leipzig will look to bring in Trent Alexander-Arnold as part of the move which sees Naby Keita join Liverpool in the summer – The Sun reports. Keita is set to join the Reds at the end of the season, for a fee which depends on Leipzig’s league finish, and it is claimed that the German side want Liverpool’s promising full-back.
Paper Round’s view: This isn’t going to happen, let’s be honest. Alexander-Arnold has shown his potential of late, and Liverpool will be reluctant to see him go, especially as he is now stamping his authority within the first team – despite being only 19.

Llorente ‘eyes Spain return’

Fernando Llorente only joined Tottenham in August, but he is now open to quitting the club this summer – the Mirror reports. The striker chose Spurs over Chelsea last year, but the 33-year-old has been reduced to a bit-part role under Mauricio Pochettino, coming off the bench in 19 of the 22 games that he has featured this season. Former club Athletic Bilbao are said to be interested in securing his services.
Paper Round’s view: It’s a move that sadly hasn’t worked out. He was always going to be Tottenham’s Plan B with Harry Kane up front, but even his role as the go-to substitute has fizzled out in recent weeks. It would not be a surprise to see him move on – a return home, particularly at the age of 33, makes perfect sense.
