Real Madrid target 12 new Galacticos

The Sun are reporting Real Madrid will be lining up for a huge summer raid, as a whopping 12 names are on the clubs' wishlist heading into potentially their final transfer window for two years as FIFA decide the nature of their ban. The report names Real as being in contact with agents of David De Gea, John Stones, Eden Hazard, Ricardo Rodriguez, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, David Alaba, Marquinhos, Paul Pogba, Aymeric Laporte, Neymar, Leroy Sane and Robert Lewandowski.
Paper Round's view: Hell of a cast Madrid have in their sights, but who's a realistic chance of moving? Robert Lewandowski, David De Gea and Paul Pogba are all probably a good chance if Madrid meet transfer fee requirements, however the rest are arguably too important to their respective clubs and probably won't be sold.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic linked to United

The Daily Mail are reporting Manchester United will have a crack at securing out of contract superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer, as his deal at PSG is set to expire at the end of the season. The report states Ibrahimovic will move at the end of his contract, with United, West Ham and AC Milan interested in his services.

Paper Round's view: United later in the story play down interest, but there would be a temptation to bolster their attack with Zlatan and perhaps a younger striker, to perhaps give them an arsenal to take on all competitions next season. 27 goals in Ligue 1 suggests he's still got something to offer.

Atletico, Juventus target Ander Herrera

Also in the Daily Mail, Ander Herrera is reportedly receiving some close attention from Euro giants Juventus and Atletico Madrid as the Spaniard enters the final two years of his contract. The report suggests Herrera would be a replacement for Juve if Pogba were to be sold, but if a move were to occur, he'd favour a move home to Spain.

Paper Round's view: Not a blow in terms of on-field presence, but reiterates how United need to be more careful with their spending. The fact that someone they purchased under two years ago for £29 million could already walk out the door, suggests they need more long term planning.

Cash splashed on Antonio Conte as Chelsea set to announce signing

The Daily Star are reporting that Chelsea will soon announce the signing of Italian Antonio Conte as the club's new boss, with the club reportedly paying for English lessons to get the manager ready for the new season. He will also apparently take control of the under 21 and under 18 set ups at the club.

Paper Round's view: If they're giving Conte control of the youth teams too, perhaps Chelsea are starting to learn what's required structurally for long term stability. Maybe, just maybe, they could be changing their ways.
