The game has slipped into a lull as Stoke seem to lack the ideas to unlock this Blackpool defence.

Double Stoke sub: Walters & Tuncay on, Pennant & Jones off

Big chance for Stoke again as Etherington's hooked cross from the left is met by Pennant and Whitehead, who get in each other's way - to the fury of Tony Pulis and the Stoke fans.

Corner goes in from the right but again Jones heads over. Wasted.

A big cheer goes up as Tuncay is sent off to warm up. Pulis surely needs to make a change.

Taylor-Flecther hits the crossbar! The ball again from Adam is floated over to the far post and Taylor-Fletcher lost his marker Whitehead and did everything right except keep his header on target. Begovic was beaten there.

Lovely football by Blackpool instigated by DJ Campbell. Campbell brings the ball over the halfway line, finds Adam, who tries to thread the ball through to Varney but it just gets away from him. Another good chance for the visitors though.
