Liverpool fell to a third successive away defeat in the Premier League for the first time since 2012 as they were comprehensively beaten at Wolves on Saturday. Jurgen Klopp saw his team concede twice in the opening 12 minutes and ultimately it proved too difficult a task to overcome. The Reds boss admitted he was left "disappointed and angry" by his team's start and has demanded a response.

'How can I not be concerned?' - Klopp after 3-0 defeat at Wolves

A “disappointed and angry” Jurgen Klopp says he “cannot find the words” for Liverpool’s start to a shock 3-0 defeat to Wolves.
The Reds - who have now lost three straight Premier League away games for the first time since 2012 – found themselves two goals down after just 12 minutes thanks to a Joel Matip own goal and a fine strike from debutant Craig Dawson.
Liverpool improved after the break but were hit by a sucker-punch in the 71st minute when captain Ruben Neves scored a third for the rampant hosts.
"You're 2-0 down, the crowd is there but it opens up and we get some control,” Klopp told BBC Sport.
“Then for about 45 minutes we play a good away game without scoring. That sums it up pretty much.
"Concentration for the first 15 minutes. Again, I cannot explain. But these 15 minutes cannot be allowed. It needs to change. That's the thing.
“I stand here again and for the first 15 minutes I have no explanation, I'm sorry.
“In the end we lost 3-0 because the goal in the second half was perhaps the first time they crossed the halfway line.
“But it's right because when you start like this you don't deserve anything in a Premier League game.”
Liverpool are now 11 points adrift of the top four and have failed to win in the league this calendar year.
Their next opponents are Sean Dyche’s Everton in what will be an intriguing Merseyside derby, with the Toffees full of confidence after beating leaders Arsenal earlier on Saturday.
"We have to change it immediately in the next game,” continued Klopp.
“Everton won today and they are in a good moment so we have to prove a point again.”
But Klopp was keen to stay in the moment as he continued to berate his side for the start they made.
“For the moment, I'm so disappointed and angry about the first 15 minutes, I can't find the words for it,” he said.
“Then we have chances we should score. It could have been 2-1 and that would have changed everything I'm sure.
“Wolves deserve the three points. Yes, definitely. That's clear. We cannot go through that season that nobody did before but how long do we want to suffer?
“It is one explanation in general yes, but not for the first 15 minutes here today. What we make of it in this moment is absolutely not OK."
The mistakes his side made also had goalkeeper Alisson Becker scratching his head.
"Sometimes in football you make mistakes and you get punished,” he said.
“We did that again and again. Two mistakes, two goals at the beginning of the game. We are making things hard for ourselves.

"After that we did a great second half. We could have done better on the third goal but it is a good moment from the opponent.
"I don't know what we need to happen to us to wake up. We come here, say we have to believe in ourselves but we don't act like that on the pitch or deserve that.
“Again, we have to put this behind us and take strength from ourselves and families to bounce back.
"I think everyone believes they are capable of doing these things, it is that you have to fight for that.
“A game of 90+ minutes you have to do it consistently for the whole game. We showed today you can get punished for 15 minutes and that's what happened to us.
“We have the same players who achieved so many great things at this club and we are not performing well. It's difficult to say why.
"I'm not saying I don't trust we can't bounce back. I'm just so disappointed about tonight's game. We have to keep working."
