Wenger had been managing Ozil’s time in training carefully in order to protect the playmaker but he doesn’t make the teamsheet for Sunday’s match.

Replacing the man who has claimed 16 assists in the Premier League in Sunday’s matchday squad is new signing Mohamed Elneny.

The midfielder is hoping to make his debut following his transfer from FC Basel.
