Everton sign Enner Valencia on loan

The Toffees have the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season if the Ecuador international impresses at Goodison Park.

The fee next summer would be around £14 million.

Valencia has eight Premier League goals for West Ham in 56 appearances.

The loan signing slightly softens the blow of missing out on Moussa Sissoko, who chose to join Tottenham despite Everton appearing close to concluding a £30m deal for the Newcastle midfielder.
