Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski joins Galatasaray
Turkish club Galatasaray have confirmed the signing of former Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan forward Lukas Podolski.
The 30-year-old forward moved to the Emirates three years ago but struggled to hold down a place in Arsene Wenger's side, spending the second part of last season on loan at Inter.
Galatasaray, who played Arsenal twice in last season's Champions League, posted confirmation on Twitter alongside a link to their official homepage, which was streaming Podolski's unveiling live at the time.
Podolski, who started for the Gunners in the 2014 FA Cup final victory over Hull, had been heavily linked with a move to Gala and his agent Nassim Touihri thinks Wenger has begrudgingly allowed the World Cup winner to leave.

"We had good talks with Wenger," Touihri told German newspaper Bild.
"He wanted to keep Lukas at Arsenal but could not guarantee him a starting position. That's why we agreed to make a transfer."
