Two years after leaving the club for £50m, David Luiz has returned to Chelsea for £32m in the biggest deal on transfer deadline day.
The Brazil international has signed a three-year deal at Stamford Bridge and told the club's official website of his excitement at playing for Chelsea once more.
I'm delighted to return to Chelsea. We had a fantastic story during my first time at the club and I want to help the team and Antonio Conte achieve a lot of success. I always had a wonderful relationship with the fans and I am looking forward to wearing the blue shirt at Stamford Bridge once again.
Luiz won the Champions League and FA Cup during his previous spell with Chelsea and rejoins former team-mates John Terry and Gary Cahill as centre-back options for new manager Conte.
In his two seasons with PSG, Luiz won seven domestic trophies but found his place under threat this season with new appointment Unai Emery preferring Thiago Silva and Marquinhos in his backline.
He initially joined Chelsea from Benfica for £21m on deadline day in January 2011. The £50m PSG paid for Luiz two summers ago makes him the most expensive defender in history.
Luiz is not the only signing on deadline day for Chelsea, with Conte also strengthening at left-back with the capture of Fiorentina's Marcos Alonso for £23m.
