Dybala not interested in Man Utd

We start with an exclusive from The Mirror who have had a chat with Juventus forward Paulo Dybala about a potential move to Manchester United. As it turns out Dybala isn't particularly interested at the moment and stressed that he is focused on winning trophies with Juventus right now.
Paper Round's view: Dybala didn't exactly rule out a move away from Juve but it's pretty obvious that he's happy there for now. You can certainly see why. He gets to play with one of the best players in the world, in one of the best teams in the world and they could fight for the Champions League title. Manchester United aren't quite at that level...

Bayern lead Ramsey chase

We now move to The Independent who report that Bayern Munich are confident of signing Aaron Ramsey when his contract with Arsenal expires at the end of the season. The Welshman had been linked with moves to Juventus, Liverpool and Chelsea but this report says Bayern believe they will secure his signature.
Paper Round's view: Watching Ramsey in Germany would be fascinating and it would be great to see another talented British player move abroad. The Bayern midfield is in need of rejuvenating and whilst that process remains ongoing Ramsey would certainly be a good addition.

Bayern sound out Zidane

Speaking of Bayern we now have an exclusive from The Sun which says that the German giants have sounded out former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane about potentially taking over from Niko Kovac. Bayern are fifth in the Bundesliga and Kovac is under immense pressure after taking over from Jupp Heynckes in the summer. There's no indication if Zidane would take the job but Bayern are keen to try and appoint him.
Paper Round's view: Zidane certainly makes logical sense for Bayern as he is one of the best managers available and they missed out on the talented Julian Nagelsmann, who might still be a few years away from the Munich job. Watching Zidane in another situation would be interesting as well, can he repeat his Real magic elsewhere?

Man Utd need to raise bid for Skriniar

We end with a report from Gazzetta dello Sport which comes via The Sun and it says that if Manchester United want to sign Milan Skriniar they will have to up their bid. United have had a bid of £53 million rejected and Inter want more.
Paper Round's view: There's no denying United need more options in defence, which is remarkable when you consider how much Jose Mourinho has spent over the last few years, and Skriniar is an excellent young player. Will Ed Woodward be happy paying this big for him though? That seems unlikely...
