That's full time. Defeat at Liverpool is answered with a 2-1 win over Leicester, who have now lost five of their six league away games this season. Watford took their chances as Leicester were on the ropes early on, and Leicester didn't have the spark to mount a proper comeback.
Morgan's jinking run on the left wing - yeah, I know - into the box is halted by a tackle, but Leicester have it back. Schlupp swings a leg at a cross, but Watford struggle to clear, and Vardy tries to curl a shot into the top corner. He can't get any spin on it, though, and it angles well wide of goal.
Guedioura clips Schlupp in Leicester's half on the wing, and concedes the foul when Schlupp eventually tumbles after struggling to stay upright.
Watford have one more change left to run down the clock if they need it.
- OffTroy DeeneyWatford
- OnStefano Okaka ChukaWatford
Okaka for Deeney. There will be five minutes of added time.
- Yellow cardDemarai GrayLeicester City
I'm afraid I missed a yellow card for Gray a few moments ago. Now, Leicester win a corner on the left wing (which is the best wing). Watford scramble it clear with only a mere hint of competence.
- OffNordin AmrabatWatford
- OnAdlène GuédiouraWatford
Guedioura for Amrabat.
Kaboul is down with cramp, as Watford prepare their subs.
Watford will make some changes shortly.
Leicester had a desperate penalty appealed just before Huth's shot. He didn't bring it down, it was Prodl knocking the ball into his own arm. It seems a decent decision from the ref.
Musa, Mahrez and others are all involved as Watford block a succession of shots in and around the box. Huth then controls a cross in the box, and falls as he tries to hook a shot past Zieler, who saves.
- OffMarc AlbrightonLeicester City
- OnAhmed MusaLeicester City
Mahrez waits to send in a cross from the left, and Musa is swapped for Albrighton.
Leicester win a corner on the left. It's cleared. It's sent back into the box and Britos clears with a brave header as Huth runs in towards the ball too. It's a crunching collision.
Morgan is fouled for climbing on Deeney to win a high ball. Free kick for Watford, and a chance to send a cross into the box on the left wing. Zieler flaps away at the ball, and it runs out of the box.
Prodl reaches a corner from the right, but it's glanced wide of the post.
Behrami and Gray have a shoving match, and they are told to get on with their lives.
Okazaki and Fuchs replaced by Gray and Schlupp.
Vardy clips in Mahrez round the back, inside the box, and he sends his shot over. Behrami is down, holding his face in the penalty area. It's not obvious what happened.
Kaboul gets ahead of his marker to meet Pereyra's header and he glances it well over the bar.
Pereyra has the chance to head in at the back post, in miles of space, but he sends in an effort straight at Zieler. It was a terribly placed header.
Drinkwater crosses too firmly for Vardy. Okazaki picks it back up, but his cross is cleared.
Fuchs is told off for pulling back Amrabat. It should be a booking, but he gives him a telling off instead of sending off. Look, are we going to enforce the rules or not?
Pereyra is tripped in midfield by Amartey. He annoys Tony Gale by asking for a yellow card, and I am thus conflicted.
Amrabat toes a pass to Janmaat, but Fuchs puts it out for a throw. Then he tackles Janmaat in a similar place, and then Janmaat finally gets in a cross that Morgan clears, just about.
Janmaat brings down Albrighton on the left wing, just over the halfway line.
The free kick is wasted and Leicester counter. Mahrez brings it forward, cuts inside, and finds Albrighton. His cross isn't properly cleared and Mahrez has time for a shot, but it's blocked right away.
- Yellow cardChristian FuchsLeicester City
Fuchs is booked by Swarbrick for clipping Capoue from behind.
The game continues much as it did at the end of the first half. Not much rhythm, and plenty of loose passes.
Zuniga launches a long throw from the left into the box, and it's headed out. Watford win the ball back, and play it back to Gomes by Janmaat. It's underhit, Gomes rushes out to clear, and Vardy catches him late. It should be a booking, but again, the refs are absolutely awful in the Premier League.
- 2nd Half
We go again.
- End of 1st Half
That's half time. See you in 15 minutes.
Mahrez's cross to the back post drifts out. Two minutes of added time.
Britos is penalised for a foul on Okazaki. The ref plays advantage, and so the crowd boo when he calls back play. Good old crowd, being foolish.
With a couple of minutes left, the game appears to be trundling to half-time.
Capoue floats a ball for Kaboul at the back post, but it's cleared. Kaboul then finds himself on the right wing with a chance to cross, but he lets the ball go over the touchline.
Drinkwater brings down Amrabat 40 or so yards from goal, in the middle of the pitch.
Watford are pressing for a third, but Leicester seem a little better organised on their right wing now.
Deeney slips in a pass into the middle for Amrabat, but it's just ahead of him.
Watford need to just continue as they are, and not hack anyone in the box again.
Fuchs gets into the box, tries to stab it to Vardy, but the ball is cut out for a throw high up the wing.
Deeney drives inside and Okazaki puts his whole body in the way. That looks sore. Free kick on the right wing.
- Yellow cardMiguel BritosWatford
Britos is getting a booking before the free kick is taken.
Fuchs tries to drags down Amrabat down the right after spinning his marker, and wins a free kick on the right wing.
Deeney chases a pass all the way back to Zieler, who hoofs it long and out of play on the right wing.
Still nothing happening on the pitch.
Leicester are having most of the ball, but they're not able to break down Watford for the moment.
Not much is happening.
A series of blocked Leicester crosses ends when Albrighton hooks a ball towards the box, but it had already gone out.
Mahrez whips in a cross from the left, and it is just a yard or two ahead of his team-mates.
- Yellow cardCamilo ZúñigaWatford
Zuniga slides, studs up into, the back of Vardy's leg. It's hard to condemn stuff like that, but technically it's a booking.
Albrighton's corner from the right is headed over by Huth.
Kaboul stretches out a leg to cut out a cross that had Vardy ready to pounce at the back post. Corner.
Vardy touches the ball past Kaboul outside the box, and it's an obvious foul when he's then tripped. The referee gives nothing. The standard of refereeing in this country is just terrible.
- Goal by penaltyRiyad MahrezLeicester City
GOAL! Watford 2-1 Leicester. Mahrez scores - Mahrez lifts the ball down the middle of the pitch, just above waist-height.
PENALTY! Vardy runs into the box on the inside left, and a clumsy challenge from Britos barges him over.
- GoalRoberto PereyraWatford
GOAL! Watford 2-0 Leicester. Pereyra scores - Pereyra drives down the left, beats Drinkwater inside. He curls a shot towards the top corner and past Zieler.
Scrappy play from both sides since the goal.
Capoue's goal came after just 33 seconds, apparently.
Amrabat stumbles after Fuchs brushes alongside him, but still manages to get in a cross on the byline. It's cleared. Simpson then clears as Deeney is waiting.
Leicester hoof it long, but Morgan's long ball is collected by Gomes.
Albirghton's corner is sliced into the air. Then that ball is sliced in the air. Albrighton has the chance to cross again, and Janmaat clears poorly.
Leicester play in midfield, and Watford drop deep as a team to defend. Zuniga concedes a corner as Mahrez challenges him.
Prodl pushes in midfield, and Leicester will chip the ball into the box. Mahrez sends it to the back post, and Gomes is able to leap to claim the second ball.
- GoalÉtienne CapoueWatford
GOAL! Watford 1-0 Leicester City. Capoue scores - Deeney cushions a cross from the left into the path of Capoue, and he hooks his volley into the ground and past Zieler.
You can read here about Ranieri's plan to keep Deeney in check.
Watford will be looking for Troy Deeney to score against the side that tried to be him over the summer.
Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki start in attack for Leicester. Vardy was back to his best for England against Spain, and will need him to repeat that level to beat Watford. Maybe.
