Mesut Ozil: I'm ready to sign Arsenal deal, but it depends on Arsene Wenger news

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has revealed that his future at the club will depend on whether or not manager Arsene Wenger extends his contract.
Ozil's future has been up in the air for a number of months, along with team-mate Alexis Sanchez, as both are yet to commit to new contracts with the club.
Both Ozil's and Sanchez's deals expire at the end of next season and fans have become worried about the possibility of losing them this summer.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with German magazine Kicker, Ozil explained that if he were to stay then it would be because Wenger, whose contract is up at the end of this season, were to also sign a new deal.
“I am very, very happy at Arsenal and have let the club know that I would be ready to sign a new contract. The fans want that I stay and now it is just down to the club.
"The club knows that I am here most of all because of Arsène Wenger. He is the one who signed me and he is the one whose trust I have. The club also knows that I want to be clear what the manager is going to [in the future].”
Ozil, who signed for the club in 2013 from Real Madrid, also responded following comments from former striker Thierry Henry.
The Gunners legend had questioned Ozil and Sanchez, saying that the pair were holding Arsenal "hostage" with their wage demands, which are reported to be in excess of £250,000 according to a variety of reports.
Ozil respected Henry's right to comment but said that the Frenchman's views didn't interest him.
“Everyone has a right to say what they want but what they have to say doesn’t interest me. Ex-players or other people who have a view don’t know what is actually being said between me and the club.”
