Conte to take Chelsea training

We start with The Mirror, who report that Antonio Conte is set to take Chelsea training on Monday despite reports that he is set to be sacked. Conte is widely expected to leave Stamford Bridge but the Blues are still unable to confirm the appointment of Maurizio Sarri so Conte will take training for now...
Paper Round's view: This is just a farce. The season is just over a month from starting and Chelsea are a complete shambles. There have been no transfers as of yet and it's no wonder the players are reportedly confused.

Torreira move close

We now have quotes from Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira, who has confirmed that his move to Arsenal is close. The 22-year-old is expected to have his medical on Monday as he becomes the latest summer signing for new manager Unai Emery.
Paper Round's view: So far Arsenal's business in the window has been pretty sensible. It's hardly pulled up trees but there is still a lot of good stuff in that squad for Emery to work with. Add a couple more players and things will take shape.

Seri in London

And another player could be on his way to Arsenal with reports that Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri is in London. It is reported that the 26-year-old central midfielder is in talks with both the Gunners and Chelsea at the moment.
Paper Round's view: Seri would add a lot to both of these sides and it is going to be interesting to see which one wins the race.

Di Maria could move to Napoli

And we end with reports that Angel Di Maria could be on his way to Italy this summer. New Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti reportedly wants to re-unite with Di Maria after one season together in Real Madrid and is keen to bring the midfielder to Naples.
Paper Round's view: Di Maria was magnificent in that one season with Ancelotti at Real and in an attacking team like Napoli it would be great to see them together again.
