Stamford Bridge evacuated after fire alarm ahead of Chelsea v Watford

Stamford Bridge has been evacuated ahead of Chelsea’s match with Watford following a fire alarm.

Staff inside the stadium were forced to head outside while the source of the alarm was investigated.

The hospitality area of the ground was reported to be where it was triggered, with a small fire contained and put out.

The match, which was scheduled for 8pm, is still due to go ahead at the original time.
