Nothing from the corner, and that's it for the match, full time. Chelsea's earlier flurry in the second half earned them the win, and United had little for the remaining part of the game to make the difference. Chelsea stay fourth, but they are just a point behind United and Spurs, who both trail Manchester City by eight points.
Rashford's free kick is struck well, but it's deflected off the wall and out for a corner on the left. Not long to go now.
Willian slides in Morata behind the defence, and as he's about to turn his man, he slips and De Gea can collect. United hit back up the other end, and Matic is brought down 25 yards out. Rashford is likely to take the last shot of the game.
There will be four minutes of added time.
Fellaini chests the ball down, and hooks a shot at goal that Courtois does brilliantly to tip away.
Chelsea sit back, waiting. Courtois does well to claim the ball from Lukaku as he backs into him. They're running out of time.
- OffEden HazardChelsea
Rashford volley a shot from the edge of the box after Herrera's cross is headed out, and it flies inches wide off a deflection from Martrial. Willian is on for Hazard.
Five minutes left. Chelsea have a throw on the right, and should start trying to run the game down - the temptation is that United are just so bad in defence.
Good work from Martial and Matic allows Rashford the chance to cross form the edge of the box, but it's a few feet too far ahead of Fellaini's run at the back post.
Herrera brings down Hazard with a challenge from behind. He could well be off, but the referee allows a marginal decision to go United's way. Cahill gets the ball from the free kick but can only send the ball straight to De Gea - they look likely to get another at this point.
Smalling goes through the back of Morata on the halfway line, and escapes a booking. Morata and Hazard have been clattered throughout the second half, to no effect for the away team.
- OffCesc FàbregasChelsea
- OnDanny DrinkwaterChelsea
Lingard is on for Young, Fabregas is off for Drinkwater.
Hazard sizes up Matic, makes room for a shot on the edge of the box, and he slaps a shot at goal that De Gea palms away with a dive to his right.
Fellaini loses the ball carelessly in midfield to Bakayoko. He strides towards goal and beats Smalling, only to send a shot wide of the near post.
Rashford concedes an obvious foul near Chelsea's box on Bakayoko, giving them a chance to run down the clock a tad, and hoof it long.
About 20 minutes left, give or take, for United to find an equaliser or for Chelsea to kill this one off early.
- Yellow cardMarouane FellainiManchester United
Fellaini is given a yellow for aiming a sly elbow into Morata's mush. Like Ricard Carvalho all over again.
Rashford wins a corner on the left. He will be the one to take it, and he sends in another poor one to the near post. Out for another. His second comes to Smalling, just under the bar, and he is penalised for clambering all over Courtois. He really is of no use at both ends of the pitch.
The corner is headed out to Herrera and his sliced shot comes to Martial, who can only stick out a leg and help it out of play.
Big Fell heads a cross down for Rashford, and he squeezes off a shot which is deflected for a corner on the right.
United attempt to build from the back, with Chelsea closing in.
- OffDavide ZappacostaChelsea
- OnAntonio RüdigerChelsea
Rudiger is on for Zappacosta.
Fabregas is eased into the touchline by Matic, conceding possession.
Herrera is manmarking Hazard now. Expect snide fisticuffs.
Rashord is on the right, Martial to the left, and Lukaku is going through the middle.
- OffPhil JonesManchester United
- OnMarouane FellainiManchester United
Jones and Mkhitaryan for Fellaini and Martial.
Bailly misjudges his clearance as Alonso closes in and concedes a corner. United's defence is showing some absolute Brendan Rodgers here.
Lukaku bursts into the box from the left, but Christensen does well to keep him away from the ball and win a goal kick.
Martial and Fellaini are warming up.
- GoalÁlvaro MorataChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United. Morata scores - Azpilicueta strides forward, with nobody tracking Morata's run. He measures a cross to the striker, who guides in an excellent header past De Gea.
Oh my days. A low cross comes in from the left for Hazard, and he spins brilliantly to volley first-time at goal, unmarked. The volley is a brilliant display of technique, but straight at De Gea.
Morata can slip in Bakayoko, in space and yards from goal, but his pass is deflected and away. A real wasted chance. United are under pressure here.
Bailly is blocked off as he tries to break, with Alonso dragging him down. It's a very obvious yellow, but this is English refereeing we're talking about.
- Yellow cardAnder HerreraManchester United
Fabregas, another man with follicular changes of late, has his free kick headed away. Hazard flings himself to the ground after being caught by Herrera on the left wing, when he had his foot stepped on. It's a yellow, and that also sums up Herrera.
Mkhitaryan puts his side under pressure with a loose ball, leading to Matic's foul on Hazard on the edge of the box.
- Yellow cardPhil JonesManchester United
Jones slides in, scissoring Hazard to the ground on the halfway line. That's a yellow, and it sums up Jones.
No changes to either side yet, but Mkhitaryan has been poor for about two months now, so expect him to face the consequences at some point. Morata spins on the corner of the box, but drags his shot wide.
Rashford takes, the ref happens to spot an infringement a fraction after, perhaps correcting that earlier mistake.
- 2nd Half
We go again. Rashford wins a corner after Azpilicueta appears to guide the ball out without touching it.
- End of 1st Half
That's half time. It's been full throttle, and full of chances. More please!
United are hanging on a touch at the moment, with lots of vaguely panicked tackles going in now. Valencia takes out Hazard with a sideways movement, and the previously bald Antonio Conte is told to call off, on the sidelines.
Confusion between Young and Matic sees a move break down on the left wing. The chances have slowed down, but it's still evenly matched.
Fabregas curls in the corner and Christensen uses his ear to head mies over. Herrera had let him go, and is injured in a collision with Smalling.
Alonso drills in a low cross to Bailly, who turns it behind for a corner on the right.
Zappacosta cuts in onto his left and Evras a low shot at goal that De Gea can save easily.
Morata is fouled by Mkhitaryan in midfield, but United win it back quickly from the free kick.
Young tries to be a clever man with a chip over a defender, but it's overhit and out for a throw-in.
Morata is probably pulled down slyly by Smalling in the box, but it looked like a dive and a slip as well, so the ref ignores him.
Rashford can't beat Azpilicueta for pace down the left, and wins a throw-in in Chelsea's half.
Morata receives the ball in the box from Fabregas, does well to turn Smalling and make some room for a shot, but he scuffs it at De Gea.
Rashford takes the corner, cleared at the near post and Courtois collects the header back into the box. Jones is across to prevent a quick Chelsea attack in retaliation.
Herrera blasts a half-volley at goal from distance, which is blocked. Young collects and manages to win a corner against Zappacosta on the left wing.
Bailly hoofs away the ball a fraction before Bakayoko takes the ball off him in midfield, and then he fouls Hazard with a tackle from behind.
Hazard skips past two players down the left, but fouls Bailly as he chases him down. It's a frantic match, and I can't even see, let alone feel, my fingers.* *This is a lie.
Morata is nudged out of the path of a cross by Bailly, allowing De Gea to claim.
Bakayoko gets into the box on the right hand corner, and brings down Herrera as the two tangle for the ball.
Rashford curls in a looping ball that Matic pressures Cahill into shinning back to his 'keeper. Courtois was able to stop easily enough.
Kante catches Mkhitaryan now, going in with his studs onto his ankle. He's OK to continue. No booking, but a free kick 40 yards out.
- Yellow cardTiemoué BakayokoChelsea
Herrera absolutely clatters Bakayoko with an attempt to kick the ball that he won't be disappointed ended upp kicking the player. Bakayoko then chatches Jones late as he chases a pass, and is booked.
Another chance for Bakayoko to attack, but his shot from the edge of the area is charged down. Moments later, Zappacosta wins a corner when his cross is defected behind. It's taken short, Hazard lashes a shot at goal that De Gea palms into the air, with Fabregas heading wide after - it might have been disallowed as Morata stood just in front of the initial shot, in an offside position.
Lukaku finds Young on the right. The ball is worked to Valencia on the right, some clever work ends with Lukaku spinning on the edge of the box to make room, and his low shot to the corner is beaten away by Courtois.
Bakayoko again. Taking three touches to bring it forward from midfield, and he sends a long range shot at goal that De Gea tips away. De Gea then punches away the corner. United attempt a break down the left from it.
A cross comes in from the right from Zappacosta, Morata completely misses it as Smalling drags him away cynically, and Bakayoko runs in to sidefoot miles wide. A huge chance.
Lukaku chases down Azpilicueta, but Chelsea happily play themseves out of bother.
Herrera gets his toes stepped on by Hazard, and Herrera - and you'll be shocked here - reacts as if dying.
Young curls to the back post from the left, and Rashford reaches it with Courtois flapping. Five yards out and unmarked, and he heads it over - eyes closed - to waste the chance.
Jones puts the ball into his own net, and the Chelsea crowd erupts. However, Morata had clearly shoved him over to make it happen. Jones is a naturally calamitous man, but it was a foul nonetheless.
Valencia picks the ball up on the touchline after Bakayoko walks away, thinking it had gone out of play. Valencia is penalised for a handball, because it hadn't.
Young wins a corner with a deflected cross from the left. Rashord swaps short passes with Young, and whips in a high cross at the back post that Courtois claims.
Morata wins a foul when Smalling catches him from behind in the calf. He's not booked, so he'll be happy with that one if nothing comes from it. Fabregas takes a short free kick to tee up Kante, and his shot from distance is deflected, forcing De Gea to leap to his left to save.
- 1st Half
The match kicks off. De Gea gets an early touch on the ball when he collects a long ball.
There will be a minute's silence before kick-off.

Antonio Conte has been asked if he has fallen out with David Luiz: ‘No, no. Tactical decision. There is [Andreas] Christensen in really good form and also we have [Ethan] Ampadu who is a good young player. The club like to play with the young player.’
Mourinho has cheered up: ‘I am happy here – and I love my players. You try to create a story because of my words after defeat at Huddersfield – but there is no story. I was not speaking with Ander Herrera any more? Ander Herrera is the kind of player I have to push him away because he wants to speak with me all the time! I don’t know where they get these kinds of stories. So yes, I am happy. It has just been a difficult week. Big matches, injuries, tiredness…but that is just normal.’
THE BIGGEST NEWS: N'Golo Kante is back for Chelsea. The excellent midfielder is back from injury to intercept, foul, kick, tackle and pass perceptively. This is the chance for Bakayoko to come up against the man he replaced, Matic, too.
BIGGER NEWS: David Luiz is dropped after a shoddy display against Roma, which means Andreas Christensen continues his integration into first team football for Chelsea. They have the stronger bench, too with Willian and Pedro ready to assist the attack.
The big new: MAROUANE FELLAINI IS BACK. Not fit enough to start, but he's got a place on the bench alongisde Scott McTominay. It's yet to be seen how United will line up, exactly, but a 3-5-2 seems possible.
Chelsea: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso, Hazard, Morata. Subs: Caballero, Rudiger, Ampadu, Drinkwater, Willian, Pedro, Batshuayi. /// Manchester United: De Gea, Bailly, Jones, Smalling, Valencia, Herrera, Matic, Young, Mkhitaryan, Lukaku, Rashford.
