FT: Man Utd 2-1 Arsenal. Wenger's last trip to Old Trafford as Arsenal boss ends in defeat thanks to Fellaini's last-gasp winner. Mkhitaryan had levelled against his former club to cancel out Pogba's opener. On to Thursday's Europa League or bust trip to Atletico Madrid for Arsenal, while United edge closer to clinching second spot.
Wenger couldn't hide his anguish when that goal went in. On to Thursday for the Gunners.
- GoalMarouane FellainiManchester United
GOAL! This time it counts. Fellaini guides Young's left-wing cross into the far corner. Heartbreak for Wenger and Arsenal.
Four minutes added.
GOAL - NO! Fellaini nods Martial's cross against the post and sees it rebound off Rashford and into the net. However, the youngster was offside.
Arsenal sense a chance to nick it, but Xhaka's delivery into a packed area doesn't really get past the first man.
Arsenal defending with real desire. Can they see out a creditable point?
Wenger must be delighted with how these players have taken to the task today. How many may have given themselves a shout for Thursday?
Valencia arrives late to meet Young's deep cross, but can only guide a volley horribly into the stand.
United still probing without any real urgency. Fellaini attacks a left-wing cross, but can't quite get on the end of it.
This result doesn't really do that much for either side. United will be all-but there in terms of CL qualification but want to get second spot wrapped up, while Arsenal will merely bolster their place in sixth.
Sanchez wastes a right-wing corner, but is fortunate to get another chance. Plenty up for United... but Martial drags a weak shot wide in the end.
Ospina is obviously okay to continue as that was Wenger's last change.
- OffHenrikh MkhitaryanArsenal
- OnJoe WillockArsenal
ARSENAL CHANGE: Joe Willock on for Mkhitaryan.
Ospina down injured for the visitors. Cech is now warming up.
Now it's Fellaini's turn to take aim with a looping 20-yard volley that just dips too late.
A half chance falls for Smalling, but he miscues despite his recent goal heroics.
United pressing without truly making the Arsenal defence creak.
Welbeck wins the ball off Fellaini, turns neatly and fizzes in a 30-yard strike that arrows straight at De Gea.
Worth pointing out that Welbeck has scored on both of his visits to Old Trafford for Arsenal in all competitions. Will United be stung by another old boy?
Rashford and Martial looking fresh and keen to make an impression. Arsenal needed to make the change at left back as Kolisinac was struggling with injury.
- OffSead KolašinacArsenal
- OnNacho MonrealArsenal
ARSENAL CHANGE: Kolasinac off, Monreal on.
- OffJesse LingardManchester United

ARSENAL CHANGE: Welbeck on for Nelson.
Lingard exchanges a one-two with Pogba on the edge of the box, but can't squeeze his shot through a wall of defenders.
United struggling to really get going here. Arsenal could yet find something to pick up that first away league win of 2018.
The resulting free kick is arced to the far post, but it's too deep for Chambers.
Young hacks down Mkhitaryan on the right. Arsenal with a free kick in a good position.
Mkhitaryan takes a pass on the left as Arsenal counter. He cuts inside in the area but lashes his curving effort well wide of the far post.
United almost respond immediately, but Young's half volley is deflected wide.
Mkhitaryan was loving that moment - inside....
- GoalHenrikh MkhitaryanArsenal
GOAL! Henrikh Mkhitaryan marks his Old Trafford return with a low 20-yard drive into the far corner. All square!
The game resumes with Arsenal probing.
- OffRomelu LukakuManchester United
- OnMarcus RashfordManchester United
UNITED CHANGE: Lukaku can't continue. Rashford replaces the Belgian.
Play halted as Lukaku receives treatment. He was caught following a tough, but fair challenge from Konstantinos Mavropanos.
Maitland-Niles drives through the midfield to the edge of the United box, but scuffs a weak left-foot effort that doesn't even threaten De Gea's goal.
This chap's early strike is currently the difference, but it was quite an even first 45 in truth.
- 2nd Half
KICK OFF! United restart the contest.
- End of 1st Half
HT: Man Utd 1-0 Arsenal. Pogba's close-range finish separates the sides at the interval.
One minute added.
Nelson meets Aubameyang's right-wing delivery but can't guide his header from 12 yards out on target.
As it stands, Arsenal's tally of PL defeats on the road this season will move up to 10. The last time they lost double figures on the road was back in 1989-90.
Fair to say, it's been a pretty even half overall.
Free kick to United on the left. Sanchez over it... but Arsenal clear.
Young jinks to the left byline and sees his miscued cross crash back off the outside of the near post.
Lukaku tries to bundle his way through the Arsenal rearguard but it just rolls away from him at the last second.
Murmurs of frustration creeping around Old Trafford. They expect their side to be putting this much-changed Gunners team to the sword.
Bellerin marauds to the right byline by Aubameyang's free header is tame and straight at De Gea.
United trying to up the tempo after allowing Arsenal back into it following the opening goal.
DID YOU KNOW? If Arsenal lose this match it will resign them to their worst points tally for a PL season under Wenger.
Replays showing Sanchez's clumsy challenge on Maitland-Niles a few moments back. It was definitely worth a shout for a penalty, but Arsenal barely appealed.
Bellerin overlaps on the right, but once again his cross is too close to De Gea with Aubameyang lurking in acres of space at the far post.
Arsenal playing some superb football as they threaten from time to time. On this occasion it's fed through to Aubameyang, but he fails to shift and shoot, opting instead to take too many touches which allows United to crowd him out.
Pogba takes aim from the resulting free kick but sees his effort blocked by a jumping wall. Sanchez is then caught offside as United looked to keep the pressure on.
- Yellow cardGranit XhakaArsenal
Xhaka cautioned for his troubles.
Xhaka drags back Lingard in full flow. Free kick to United 30 yards out.
United have scored the first goal in 19 PL matches this season - they've won every one of those...
A super Arsenal move down the right ends with Mkhitaryan rifling a low shot just wide of the far post after Maitland-Niles had touched it back into his path via a lovely flick.
United fans singing: "We want you to stay," to Wenger...
- GoalPaul PogbaManchester United
GOAL! Pogba gives United the lead with a simple tap-in after Sanchez's header from Lukaku's clever cross from the right had come back off the post.
Better from the visitors. They play their way out of trouble from right to left before Reiss Nelson's tame, low effort is smothered by De Gea down at the base of his right-hand post.
United beginning to apply the squeeze. Arsenal can't get out.
TRAVEL SICK: Arsenal are the only team in the top four divisions in England to have suffered defeat in a all of their away fixtures in the league in 2018.
United look to up the ante after a decent spell of possession, but Lukaku's audacious flick has too much on it to find the run of Lingard, who had sneaked in-behind.
STAT: Man United are targeting a first league double over the Gunners since 2011-12.
United respond. The visitors clear a right-wing corner, but then leave Lingard free on that side of the penalty area. The England man takes a touch but sees his driven cross-shot blocked.
Arsenal showing signs they have the pace and quality to cause some problems on the break. Bellerin motors forward on an overlap but his cross is far too close to De Gea.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan breaks down the left and into the box, but his low cut back catches Aubameyang on his heels and United easily clear their lines.
Xhaka gives the ball away deep in Arsenal territory. A miscued volley from Matic falls for Pogba, who can only skew an awkward effort well wide of the near post.
Head-to-head: The Red Devils have not lost in 10 home league games against Arsenal. The Gunners' last victory came in September 2006. It's United's best run versus the Gunners since 1961!
Indeed. Alexis Sanchez also quick to give his old boss a friendly welcome.
A great reception for Wenger from the OT faithful. Sir Alex Ferguson was amongst those to wish him well (but maybe not for today).
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! Arsenal get us underway.
Arsenal fans gave their thoughts on the man to replace Arsene Wenger recently ... it didn't bode well for Brendan Rodgers (even though the former Liverpool boss clinched another title with Celtic earlier today).
JOSE v ARSENE: This the 19th time the pair have locked horns from the dugout. Mourinho has only tasted defeat on two occasions, but they have both come in the last five meetings. The Portuguese has never been beaten by Wenger as a home manager, a run that currently stands at seven matches.
Mourinho on Wenger: "We had big matches, big fights, so thank you so much for that...." "Regret? Little negative episodes, yes I do. There were little things where it would be obviously better without them, you know, some gestures, some words, it would obviously be better without it. I feel better now without it, no doubts about it."
Wenger has had some major highs and some real lows during his 27 matches as Arsenal boss at United. The 8-2 loss in 2011 was a painful one with an inexperienced side - is this a bad omen for this afternoon?
Just the one change for United following their FA Cup semi-final victory over Spurs. Lindelof replaces Jones.
Arsenal make EIGHT changes as Wenger's team sheet shows his clear focus is on the Europa League clash at Atletico on Thursday. Koscielny, Mustafi, Ramsey, Wilshere, Ozil, Lacazette, Monreal and Welbeck are all rested with only the latter two on the bench. That means Konstantinos Mavropanos starts at the heart of the defence along with Calum Chambers. There are also starting berths for Aubameyang and former United playmaker, Mkhitaryan.
