  • End of 2nd Half
90+5'

FT: Watford 1-1 Tottenham. It's honours even then - Watford's first point against Spurs after a run of seven successive defeats but they will be a bit disappointed it's only one given they were up against ten men, while for Tottenham that's more points dropped.

90+4'

Watford hit it long to Deeney, but do little to trouble Tottenham. Then they have a big handball appeal against Dier once the ball eventually gets into the area but the referee isn't interested.

90+2'

Carrillo skips past two men inside the Spurs penalty area before sending in a low cross, but that cross is hacked clear.

90+1'

Four added minutes.

90'

Zeegelaar brings down Trippier and is lucky to escape a second yellow but does concede a free-kick inside his own half, which Lamela sends into the box and Doucoure clears.

89'

Winks fizzes a cross into the Watford six yard box where Femenia very calmly flicks teh ball clear.

Carrillo plays a poor pass that's intercepted and Tottenham can break but then a tired Kane performs the same trick.

81'

Capoue does well to make space for himself on the edge of the box but then shoots straight at Lloris.

79'

Watford have a nice spell of possession but can't break down a resolute Tottenham defence at the minute. Spurs very much looking to play on the break.

Gomes dives off his line brilliantly to beat away a low Trippier cross and hurts himself in the process, so there's a pause in play.

63'

The corner is cleared as far as Doucoure who unleashes a vicious curling effort that crashes against the post and comes back out across the face of goal. Lloris didn't move - what a hit.

63'

Tottenham try and pass their way out of trouble and end up conceding a corner as Davies ball up the line is blocked by Pereyra into the Welshman and then out of play.

60'

SPurs break and Kane looks to curl one into the far corner but can't get the ball past Prodl's outstetched leg.

59'

Richarlison whips in a cross from the left that somehow evades the several yellow shirts flying towards it.

57'

And by debate I mean he is shouting at him.

57'

Kane is fouled again, by Kabasele, and Pochettino is in a heated debate with the fourth official.

55'

Kane wins a free-kick which Tottenham pump into the Watford box but its cleared to Dembele who scuffs a shot wide. Every decision the referee makes is being contested by players and fans alike now.

  • Davinson Sánchez

Kane turns on halfway and sythed down by Kabasele, who couldn't afford to let him get free, and that earns a booking.

48'

It's been a slow start to the second half.

46'

We're back underway at a gloomy Vicarage Road.

45+2'

HT: Watford 1-1 Tottenham. That's the last action of a pretty entertaining half and 1-1 is probably a fair reflection of the balance of play.

45+2'

Kane takes responsibility and shoots over.

45+1'

Prodl catches Alli 30 yards out, just left of centre, giving Tottenham a late free-kick in a dangerous position.

45+1'

One added minute.

44'

Gomes comes a long way off his to claim a cross from deep by Trippier, with Kane lurking.

42'

Spurs eventually work the free-kick into the box and a bouncing rebound falls to Davies 20 yards out and he shoots just wide.

41'

39'
37'

Doucoure fizzes a shot narrowly wide from 20 yards.

36'

Despite the free-kick being at least 35 yards out Eriksen goals for goal. He gets the ball to bounce just before the goal, but it's also straight at Gomes.

33'

The hosts win a corner on the same side as the one from which they scored but this time Cleverley overhits it slightly and Lloris is able to punch clear.

31'

Davies gets in position to cross and does just that, although too close to ex-Spurs man Gomes who claims.

29'

Tottenham have dominated possession since the goal, without really doing anything, and the home fans have become slightly restless.

24'
23'

Dier almost finds Alli with a nonchalant, clipped cross but the ball skips off the surface and just out of Alli's reach.

20'

A Watford long throw in flicked on by Deeney towards Richarlison, who attempts an overhead kick and makes a good connection on the ball, but his shot is blocked.

19'

Alli, who has barely featured, overruns the ball and after it dribbles into touch.

19'
17'

Son trips Femenia inside the Tottenham half, giving Cleverley another dead ball opportunity from which to put the ball into the box, but this time the visitors head clear.

14'

hat was one of those goals that just looked really easy - so easy that you wonder why teams don't do that more often. Pochettino won't be impressed and his woes continue.

8'

Eriksen's corner is half-cleared to Trippier on the edge of the box and he shoots staright into the onrushing Doucoure, although the ball was heading well wide.

6'

Almost 1-0 to Tottenham as a brilliant ball from Dier picks out Trippier who volleys across the six yard box towards Kane but he can't get a touch on the ball, under pressure from two defenders, and Watford survive.

5'

Impressive start from Spurs so far.

2'

Son gets in behind Femenia and for a second looks to have been put through on goal but the offside flag is up.

2'

It looks like Tottenham are playing a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Dier in holding midfield alongside Dembele.

1'

Watford get the game underway.

14:59

The players are out on the pitch, alongside referee Martin Atkinson, and we're almost ready to go. Watford are in yellow shorts with black shorts and socks while Spurs are in white shirts and socks with navy shorts.

14:54
14:50

Here's a reminder of the two teams with 10 minutes until kick-off.

WATFORD: Gomes, Mariappa, Prodl, Kabasele, Femenía, Cleverley, Doucoure, Zeegelaar, Pereyra, Richarlison, Deeney.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: Lloris, Trippier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Son, Dele, Kane

14:45

The Hornets' last win over Tottenham came in the League Cup in 1994. For their last league win versus today’s opponents you have to go back to 1987.

14:42

Watford have never beaten Spurs in the Premier League, losing six of the duo's eight meetings.

14:38

As for Watford they aren't in the best run of form either, picking up six points from their last six games and losing four of those matches, but do sit just three points below Tottenham. Now that Everton have appointed a manager who isn't Marco Silva they'll be looking to kick on after such an impressive start and Spurs would make a nice scalp. If they win by six goals they'll even leapfrog Pochettino's side.

14:34

Some great goals in here, from some of the usual suspects and one from a player who was anything but.

14:29

And speaking of terrific, or rather 'triffic', if Spurs lose today they will have lost four consecutive away games in the Premier League. The last time they did that was in 2009, when Harry Redknapp was manager.

14:25

So Tottenham are struggling in the league - that's the bad news. The good news is that they have a terrific record against Watford of late, having won seven games on the bounce against the Hornets.

14:15

The games are coming thick and fast as we enter December but in the case of out of sorts Tottenham that's a good thing, according to Mauricio Pochettino. "We are in a period at the moment where everything is against us and we need to change that dynamic and build momentum again," he has said. "The team feel that we need to win and they cannot wait to compete again."

14:10

Son has scored three goals in four games against Watford, including an 89th-minute winner two at this ground two seasons ago.

14:07

Spurs meanwhile make three changes with two new fullbacks - Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier - coming into the side as well as Son Heung-Min, who has been a thorn in Watford's side when the two have met over the last two seasons.

14:03

First the hosts, who make two changes to the team that lost 4-2 to Manchester United on Tuesday. Roberto Pereyra is in for the injured Will Hughes and Troy Deeney is preferred to Andre Gray.

14:00

Hello and welcome to Eurosport’s live coverage of Watford versus Tottenham, a match that pits seventh against eighth in the Premier League and looks another tricky one for Spurs, who have won only one of their last five league games. Team news is up next...
