Revealed: Why TV interview sparked Mourinho-Pogba rift at Manchester United

The flashpoint behind the rift between Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and record signing Paul Pogba has been identified, according to the Daily Mail.
The paper reports that what at the time appeared to be a light-hearted moment between the two on national television actually angered Mourinho and led him to drop the £89m midfielder.
According to the Mail, Mourinho was “left furious” after his post-match BBC interview following the 2-1 win over Liverpool on March 10 was interrupted by Pogba.
As seen in the clip below, the moment seemed innocuous enough, with Mourinho smiling even as Pogba interrupted his flow.
But according to the Mail:
Sportsmail understands that Mourinho was angered by Pogba's behaviour, which saw the £89million midfielder pull him away from the spot he was standing in. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid chief laughed off the incident on camera, but was unhappy enough to let Pogba know of his disappointment privately.
Pogba missed the Liverpool game due to injury, but since regaining fitness has not recovered his place in the starting XI since.
His future at United is now reportedly in some doubt after his falling-out with Mourinho.
