Alexis Sanchez has been omitted from the Arsenal squad for their trip to Bournemouth amid claims he could join Manchester United this month.
After months of speculation claiming Sanchez could be on his way to Manchester City, reports on Sunday morning claim Jose Mourinho's United are suddenly in pole position to land the Chile forward.
Sanchez did not travel with the Arsenal squad to Bournemouth with the player's contract due to expire this summer.
"His situation is not decided one way or the other so I left him at home," said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Jack Wilshere starts for Arsenal after recovering from the ankle injury he suffered against Chelsea in their 0-0 draw in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final in midweek.
