Football news - Claude Puel jokes Jamie Vardy 'could not digest the penal decision'

Leicester City manager joked that striker Jamie Vardy had to run off the pitch during his team's 3-1 defeat against Arsenal because he could not handle the decision not to award the Foxes a penalty.

Vardy was taken off late in the game and the forward was seen sprinting down the tunnel.
Fans on social media joked that Vardy may have to relieve himself and after the game Puel did confirm that his player had stomach issues.
"Jamie was ill and he could not come back into the game.
"He felt this in the second half.
"It was his stomach... he could not digest the penalty decision."
The decision not to award Leicester a penalty came when Rob Holding, already booked, appeared to handle the ball inside the box at 0-0 but referee Chris Kavanagh waved away the appeals.
