Trent Alexander-Arnold has committed his future to Liverpool after signing a five-year deal to remain at the club until 2024.
The 20-year-old joined Liverpool aged just six, and told the club's website of his pride at the deal.
He said: "I’m ecstatic and really proud - I feel privileged to have the support and the trust the club has in me to offer me a new deal."
He added: "Hopefully we can achieve a lot of success in those years."
The full-back made his senior debut in 2016 and has since made 67 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side, scoring four times. He also made it to Gareth Southgate's England squad for last year's World Cup.
He said: "As soon as they offered the contract, there was no hesitation whatsoever," adding, "The last 18 months especially have been very special. Hopefully the next 18 months and even further on than that will be even more special.”
Liverpool are currently four points above Manchester CIty at the top of the Premier League table, and play Crystal Palace on Saturday.
