Chelsea are up and running under Maurizio Sarri - the Blues record a three-goal lead in the Italian's first Premier League game. And on their second-half performance, it's fair to say Chelsea will be a lot of fun to watch this season.
Three minutes to be added on.
Fast-moving football from Chelsea and it almost culminates in a fourth goal. Moses threads a ball through to Morata whose shot is deflected behind for a corner.
There was some cause for concern in Chelsea's first-half performance. They were slow, laboured and the two-goal lead flattered them. Sarri was animated on the touchline, ordering his men to play at a quicker tempo. The football didn't improve until the Italian delivered his team-talk and the Blues played like a new team after the restart. Their play has been much more fluid.
With the game almost sewn up, Chelsea are happy to just wind down the clock. It has been a productive afternoon for Sarri who will be delighted with his side's second-half performance.
The two-goal lead may have flattered Chelsea at the end of the first-half but they have been simply sublime since the restart. And Hazard has provided fresh legs in midfield since his introduction.
GOAL! Huddersfield 0-3 Chelsea
A classic goal on the counter-attack from the Blues. Executed by Hazard, finished by Pedro.
Depoitre heads straight at Kepa, the Chelsea goalkeeper throws the ball back into play. Hazard drives forward, slipping through Pedro at the perfect moment. The Spaniard applies the finish, lifting the ball over Hamer.
After a brief Huddersfield spell, Chelsea are determined to stall their momentum by putting their foot on the ball and keep possession.
- OnEden HazardChelsea
CHELSEA SUB: Hazard comes on for the impressive Willian.
Huddersfield register their first shot at goal in the second-period but it's never troubling Keta. Hadergjonaj drives down the right channel, cutting the ball back to Depoitre. He has more time than he thinks but he hurries a first-time shot, blasting it over the bar.
Eden Hazard is warming up and is preparing to come on.
Sarri watches on as Chelsea lead 2-0.
The home supporters are delirious as Chris Kavanagh signals for a Chelsea goal-kick despite the fact Kepa tipped over Billing's headed effort.

- OnAdama DiakhabyHuddersfield Town
HUDDERSFIELD SUB: The hosts are changing shape, they will now operate with a back four as new boy Adama Diakhaby comes on for Lowe.
- Yellow cardDavid LuizChelsea
Luiz receives a booking for a late foul on Depoitre in midfield. It's only the second yellow card of the afternoon.
- OffRoss BarkleyChelsea
- OnRuben Loftus-CheekChelsea
CHELSEA SUB: One Englishman for another as Ruben Loftus-Cheek gets a run out - he replaces Barkley who has done OK this afternoon.
Chelsea win a free-kick, 25 yards out in a central area. Alonso and Luiz are over it but it's the former who steps up to take it... he gets the curl to take it over the wall but it's always rising and fails to trouble Hamer.
Chelsea have been much better since the restart, they have taken complete control of the game. Pass, pass, pass and Huddersfield are close to submission. Playing with much more intent now, the Blues.
Willian is allowed to cut inside on the left to narrow his angle and he lets one fly, but it takes a deflection and the Brazilian magician has to settle for a corner.
Chelsea go close from a corner once more. This time Rudiger flicks on the delivery to set up Alonso but his acrobatic effort smashes against the woodwork. That would have been something.
Rudiger is left totally unmarked to meet Willian's corner delivery and his downward header is destined for the bottom corner until Hamer gets across and pushes it wide!
Willian spreads the ball to Pedro on the right. He swings the ball in, towards Morata who makes a run to the near post but he misses the connection.
David Luis is making his 200th appearance for Chelsea, which is of course over two spells having spent some time at PSG.
Willian is such a dangerous player with a ball at his feet; his explosive pace can cause problems for any team in world football. Receiving the ball on the left flank, he leaves his marker for dead but his cross is cut out by Schlinder at the heart of the Huddersfield defence.
Chelsea are playing much more direct since the restart. Alonso drills a lovely first-time volley goal-wards but it's crucially blocked by Schlinder.
A lack of goals has been Huddersfield's problem in the Premier League; in fact, they only managed to score three in their last 10 matches last term. They need to net at least twice this afternoon to grab a draw at best.
- 2nd Half
Huddersfield get the second-period underway. The hosts made a change at the break: Laurent Depoitre replaced Pritchard in midfield.
- End of 1st Half
Huddersfield will be wondering how on earth they are trailing by two goals at the break. They have more than matched the Blues but Sarri's side have been rather clinical, scoring with both of their shots on target. It's a long way back for the hosts.
- Goal by penaltyJorginhoChelsea
GOAL! Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea
Two shots on target, two goals from Chelsea. Jorginho with a slow, nonchalant run-up, strokes the ball down the middle and Hamer doesn't get close to it.
PENALTY TO CHELSEA!
Alonso is caught by Schlinder inside the box and the referee points to the spot! The Huddersfield defender is also booked.
Pritchard drives forward with some, purpose and pace and tries to pick out Mounie who has peeled off his marker at the back post, but Azplicueta is alert to the danger and makes a headed interception.
Just the one shot on target from Chelsea but it's the goal that separates the sides as the game nears the half-time whistle.
OFF THE WOODWORK!
Kepa beaten but Chelsea survive! Huddersfield deliver a corner, it's flicked on to Mounie whose header smacks off the inside of upright and bounces to safety. Desperately unfortunate.
Well, it was certainly a moment of class from Willian.
It wasn't a clean strike by any means but Chelsea will be relieved. It's been a sloppy performance thus far from the visitors - and that was their first shot on target.
- GoalN'Golo KantéChelsea
GOAL! Huddersfield 0-1 Chelsea
It's a scruffy goal but Chelsea and Sarri won't care - they are off and running under their new boss. The Blues work it wide to Willian, he creates space for a cross with a couple of step-overs, finding Kante who slices his effort into the corner of the net.
Azpilicueta casually tries to shepherd the ball out of play but Billings catches him unaware, stealing possession. He delivers the cross but it's over the head of Mounie.
More frustration for Chelsea: Luis delivers a lovely diagonal ball over the top to Willian but his touch is heavy and he can't keep it in play.
Sarri races out of the dugout once more, urging his players to move forward up the pitch as a team. He won't be pleased with how his side have performed in the opening half-an-hour.
But the referee is never giving that one. Pritchard mis-controls a cross with his chest, there is some contact with Luis, but not enough for a foul.
And then Mounie strikes a venomous effort well over the bar.
Chelsea fail to clear a cross convincingly and it falls to Billings who is unable to direct his first-time shot on target. The referee Chris Kavanagh had already spotted a foul on Luis though, so it wouldn't have counted anyway.
Chelsea have had 72% of possession thus far but Huddersfield haven't been troubled defensively. Sarri isn't happy with the tempo his side are playing at. They need to move the ball quicker.
Kepa's first save in Chelsea's colours - and it's straight forward. Pritchard curls one from 20 yards but it's never threatening the visitors' no 1.
At this stage last term Chelsea were already trailing to Burnley on the opening day of the 17/18 Premier League season. They went on to lose that home contest 3-2. Sarri's side are looking much more comfortable here in Yorkshire.
The Chelsea goalkeeper will be relieved with his positive contribution after slicing his kick-out earlier in the match, a moment the home supporters loved. All eyes are on the £72m man this afternoon.
Kepa is swift off his line to clear a long ball over the top which threatened to release Mounie.
Morata is challenged by Schlinder
A clever pass from Jorginho sets Willian free in the middle. He eats up a lot of ground before spotting Morata making a run to his left. However the Spain international can't take the ball in his stride when the pass is played and Huddersfield regain possession.
Willian dances past a defender with his silky quick feet before spreading the ball wide to Alonso. He crosses from deep but it's too close to Hamer who gathers with ease.
Sarri is pretty animated on the touchline - barking orders at his players to move the ball quicker. It has been a slow start from Chelsea.
Huddersfield are playing a high-pressing game and it pays dividends as Chelsea lose the ball in their own half. Billing drives forward on the right and has plenty of options in the middle but his cross is blocked for a throw-in.
Hamer's pass to a team mate is slightly short and Huddersfield lose possession in a dangerous position. The ball is fed to Morata who is through on goal but is adjuged to be in an offside position. A nervy start from the hosts.
It will be interesting to see how Chelsea play under their new manager Sarri. Already we can see Kante is being operated in a slightly advanced midfield role, with Jorginho sitting just in front of the three-man defence.
- 1st Half
Chelsea, in their yellow away kit, get the game underway.
Chelsea's new goalkeeper Kepa acknowledges the travelling supporters.
The players are making their way out onto the pitch and are greeted to a tremendous atmosphere at the John Smith's Stadium. Kick-off is only moments away and it's LIVE!
Chelsea's Jorginho is sure to be on this list of seven summer signings set to transform the Premier League.
DID YOU KNOW?
Huddersfield's most recent league win against Chelsea was in a Division Two game at Stamford Bridge in March 1963.
Our journalists aren't expecting Chelsea to be serious title contenders this season and Huddersfield fans may also want to look away...
Chelsea find themselves in a bit of a mess; Antonio Conte took the first pre-season session knowing he was on the verge of the sack, while new manager Maurizio Sarri has barely had time to get to know his players. And then of course he lost Thibaut Courtois.
"The [Thibaut] Courtois situation was clear," said the former Napoli coach. "He wanted to go to Madrid, so we lost maybe one of the most important goalkeepers in the world now.
"We bought a young goalkeeper, I think one of the most important amongst the young goalkeepers in Europe. I'm really happy.
"He's very young, 23. I hope he can improve very fast. For the moment he's not Courtois, for sure."
Huddersfield made sure of their top-flight status with a game to spare last season, after their famous draw with Chelsea, but has David Wagner got what it takes to keep the Terriers up for a second consecutive season? It would be some achievement.
"It's up to the whole group to get this togetherness up to a level that makes it difficult for the opponent," said Wagner.
"If we have a Terrier spirit, we will be competitive."
