FT: Tottenham 2-1 Norwich. Not the most convincing, but a first victory in five league games for Spurs nonetheless. Norwich gave a good account of themselves, but could not take their chances at crucial moments. Spurs' quest for a top-four finish lives on. Thanks for joining us. Goodnight.

Final change for Norwich as Marco Stiepermann comes on for McClean.

Eriksen collects the ball on the edge of the box, but the Dane fires over.

SIX minutes of added time here.

One of those games for Norwich. They have done more than enough to get at least a point here.

Final change here for Norwich as Josep Drmic is on for Rupp.

Such an important strike too.

CLOSE! Pukki lays the ball off for Rupp, who drills for the bottom corner, but the ball fizzes just wide. Norwich really do deserve something here.

Change for Norwich as Onel Hernandez replaces Tetty.

Very much against the run of play, Alli's cross takes a wicked defection, loops over Krul and Son arrives at the back post to nudge the ball home.

GGGOOOOOAAALLLL!!!!! Tottenham 2-1 Norwich. So lucky for Spurs as Son arrives at the back post to put his side in front.

It really does look like Norwich are the more likely winner here, as Pukki almost gets on the end of another cross.

No matter the opposition...

Change for Spurs and it is January arrival Gedson Fernandes who replaces Vertonghen.

Ball is worked nicely to Aurier down the right, but the cross is again poor, straight into Krul's arms.

They have, you know...

This is anyone's to win now. Norwich still seeing plenty of the ball and Spurs looking flat.

GOOOOOAAAALLLL!!!! Tottenham 1-1 Norwich. After a looooooong VAR check, again, Pukki slots home in his second penalty of the week to level things up!

PENALTY TO NORWICH! Max Aarons felled in the box by Sessegnon. The Spurs defender knew as soon as he slid in/

Cantwell makes the dart down the left, but cannot get the cross into the middle.

Few more groans from around the ground as another Spurs attack comes to nothing.

Eriksen pulls wide, tries to whip the cross into the middle, but Krul gathers with ease.

Change for Spurs as Lamela is replaced by Christian Eriksen.

Jan Vertonghen's slip allows Pukki to steal in, looks set to pull the trigger, but Spurs get bodies back.

Not good timing for Jose...

Disaster for Harry Winks as injury strikes the youngster again, with Eric Dier coming on in his place.

WRONG OPTION! Again, good football from Norwich works the ball to Pukki, but the Finn elects to shoot with the side of his foot, with the ball trickling wide. Had to either put his put through it, or lay the ball off, with options either side.

Appeals for handball against Alderweireld, but nothing is given.

Great long ball from Toby Alderweireld, Son arrives at the back post, but gets underneath his effort firing well over.

Yet another long delay, and the decision stays the same. Yellow.

Cantwell leaves his foot in on the slide, with his studs showing. Yellow card, but VAR is checking!

We are back under way here. No changes for either side.

Plenty of positives for Spurs.

HT: Tottenham 1-0 Norwich. Not vintage from Spurs, but they will take that lead. Alli's first goal since Boxing Day doing the damage. Norwich are not out of this yet, and must be more clinical when they get their chances.

Norwich playing some decent stuff, but their lack of killer instinct is costing them. Rupp the latest to fire wide on the end of a fine move.

Lamela pulls out the rabona cross, which only just eludes Lucas.

At last!

Great timing of the goal for Spurs, who have not been at their best here.

Cantwell is caught in possession, and in the blink of an eye, Aurier feeds the ball across for Alli to tap home his 49th Premier League goal.

GOOOOOOAAALLLL!!!! Tottenham 1-0 Norwich. There is that first Spurs Premier League goal of 2020 for Spurs, Dele Alli the scorer.

Strange atmosphere around the ground with Spurs really struggling to open Norwich up.

Best player on the park so far.

CLOSE! Again it is Norwich who go close with Pukki just dragging his strike wide with his left foot.

Lucas Moura threads a lovely pass into Son down the channel, but the South Korean can only fire into the side netting.

CLOSE! Pukki lays the ball off for Cantwell, who gets the ball out of his feet, rifles for goal, but sees his strike fly just over.

Krul sends his defenders away from a goal kick which he launches long. Vertonghen steps into midfield to win the first ball, but Norwich get it back and keep it in the Spurs half.

Tempo has slowed somewhat here, with neither side able to put together more than a few passes.

Son Heung-Min picks up the ball 20 yards from goal. takes a punt, but that is always heading over.

Fierce cross into the middle from Aurier but again Norwich get a foot in there to clear.

Alli wins Spurs a corner when his pressure on Zimermann from a high ball in forces him to head behind, and Krul catches the delivery when it comes.

Should have been...

CHAAANCE! Great football from Norwich as Cantwell feeds Teemu Pukki, who is free, in the centre of the goal, but he cannot make the right connection and scuffs his effort wide. Has to do better from there.

Norwich enjoying a bit of possession now. Noel Cantwell is seeing plenty of the ball.

Good cross into the middle but Dele Alli cannot quite get on the end of it.

Good tempo from Spurs, with attacks coming from all angles here.

SAVE! First shot at goal comes from Lamela, on the end of a Serge Aurier cross, but Tim Krul is there to beat the ball away.

Lloris a little hesitant on the ball so far. Understandable given how long he has been out for.

Cagey opening so far, but this have pair fewer clean sheets than anyone in the Premier League, so goals are surely in the offing!

Couple of Spurs corners causing problems here, but Alex Tettey does well to clear.

Erik Lamela takes a tumble under a poor challenge from Sam Byram. No card.

The hosts get us up and running.

So here we go! If Spurs want to have any chance of a top-four finish, they simply have to win tonight, with the importance not lost of Mourinho, bringing back skipper Hugo Lloris as soon as he possibly could. We are minutes away!

He is not in the squad, again, amid speculation he is the latest to get on the wrong side of Mourinho.

It is clear where Tottenham's problems lie. With Harry Kane absent, Spurs are the only Premier League team yet to score in 2020.. They haven't failed to score in four consecutive league games since September 2006.

Jose Mourinho, Harry Kane

HEAD TO HEAD: Tottenham have won their last two Premier League home games against Norwich, 2-0 in September 2013 and 3-0 in December 2015. Following their 2-2 draw at Carrow Road in the reverse fixture, Norwich are looking to avoid defeat in both Premier League meetings with Spurs for only the second time in a Premier League season (also in 2012-13).
