HALF-TIME: Liverpool lead Man City 2-0 on an afternoon of high drama at Anfield.

45'

There will be TWO minutes of added time to play at the end of the first half.

44'

Save! Salah tries a first time curling effort from 25 yards out, forcing Bravo into a good save. A little more pace and curl and Liverpool were celebrating their third.

42'

Chance! Aguero races in behind Lovren but snatches at the chance, pulling his shot well wide. Perhaps his goal drought at Anfield is playing on his mind?

41'

The Egyptian is fit to continue, much to the relief of the Anfield support.

40'

There's a concern for Salah who goes down after a strong tackle by Fernandinho.

-

All is not well for City...

38'

Save! Alexander-Arnold goes on a lung-busting run, driving from left to the centre of the park and feeds Firmino inside the box. He twists and turns to create the space for a shot, but it's straight down the throat of Bravo. City's defence was all over the place - again.

36'

Over! Gundogan only partially clears Salah's cross. Firmino pounces on the loose ball, sells Walker a dummy but then fires his shot into the stands.

34'

Alexander-Arnold stands up his corner, Lovren rises highest through a crowd of bodies and flicks it on, but it rolls out for a goal-kick.

33'

Liverpool attack from the left, Salah back-heeling the ball into the path of Henderson, who forces the corner. Salah looks really up for this today.

32'

City work the ball to Angelino on the left and he hooks a delightful ball across the face of goal - but there's no one on the end of it.

30'
29'

Post! Angelino works his way through a crowded Liverpool penalty area and pokes the ball at goal, it takes a deflection, bounces off the outside of the post and out for a corner.

28'

Having kept the ball so well, City have been guilty of a few stray passes in the last few minutes.

-
25'

Save! Aguero cuts inside, nutmegging Fabinho, and opens the angle for a right-footed shot but it's at a comfortable height for Alisson who pushes the ball away from goal. And his wait for a first goal at Anfield continues.

-
23'

Sterling is picked out at the far post, a change of pace takes him past Robertson but his cross is blocked.

21'

Chance! Wijnaldum and Mane link up in a mouth-watering move, but the former then curls his side wide, though it took a deflection.

-
19'

City are down, but not out. They are still having plenty of possession. Pep will want his team to stick to the game plan.

17'

City have been very good on the ball but their defensive line has been at sixes and sevens. And against this ruthless Liverpool side you cannot give an inch.

-
15'

Dramatic afternoon at Anfield so far, it's safe to say. Liverpool have had two attacks and have proved clinical. City's defence is all over the place.

Another City chance! Liverpool may be ahead on the scoreboard but their defence has left a lot to be desired. De Bruyne swings in another delightful free-kick, but it evades both Aguero and Bernardo.

9'

Chance! Sterling has a wonderful chance to silence the home supporters as he runs in behind to meet De Bruyne's free-kick - but he heads over the bar.

-

Boom.

7'

Should Man City have had a penalty? It definitely hit Alexander-Arnold's arm, so maybe Liverpool have got away with one.

KICK-OFF! We are underway at Anfield.

16:28

'You'll never walk alone' rings around Anfield ahead of the Remembrance Sunday tributes. A minute's silence will now take place.

-
16:25

There are just FIVE minutes until kick-off and the atmosphere is building nicely at Anfield. Here come the players...

-
16:20

No matter how hard Klopp and Pep try to play down the importance of this afternoon, it is a HUGE game and will have ramifications for the title race. Bravo hasn't played in the league in a long, long time and he has a make-shift back four ahead of him, with Fernandinho continuing to fill in for Laporte, while Angelino's defensive ability has raised questions in the past. Liverpool haven't been at their best in recent weeks but they must start the game as favourites.

-
16:15

Man City have won 11 of their past 12 Premier League away games, scoring 30 goals during that period.

-
16:05

Liverpool are unbeaten in 28 league games, and haven't lost at Anfield since May 2017. Riyad Mahrez missed a late penalty at Anfield last season, spurning a chance to win the game for City in the dying moments, as the game finished 0-0. City won the reverse fixture 2-1 and would go on to retain their title by a single point.

16:00

Klopp's side will be NINE points clear of City with a win today. It's a huge incentive for the Reds. Considering they have lost just one of their last 50 league games, they would have to lose at least three of their next 26 to allow City back in.

15:55

Guardiola: "I just want my team to fight to the end. Liverpool are a team that lost one game last season, none this season, so you cannot believe that they will lose many, but the season is long. They do everything well. You see the team, what is the weak point? They are a real complete team and we need this kind of rival."

-
15:50

Klopp: "From a sport's point of view, this rivalry is getting bigger and bigger. Thank god there is a rivalry because it means we are a pretty good team as well. If you are not brave against Man City you don't have the chance of even a point. Everyone has to be in top shape in the stadium on Sunday, even the guy selling the hotdogs. Everyone has to be there from the warm-up and invest all our emotions."

-

Pep Guardiola sometimes makes strange decisions for games at Anfield, a ground where City haven't won at since 2003.

15:45

Claudio Bravo comes in for Ederson in goal, as expected, but the big talking point in City's starting XI is the inclusion of Angelino, who is given the nod ahead of Benjamin Mendy at left-back. John Stones and Fernandinho play at centre back. Rodri is passed fit and starts in midfield but there's only a place on the bench for David Silva.

15:40

Liverpool are as expected - Jurgen Klopp makes just one change as Fabinho comes in for Adam Lallana. Jordan Henderson had been ill during the week but starts in midfield.

15:35

TEAM NEWS - Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Salah, Firmino, Mane.. subs: Adrian, Milner, Keita, Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana, Origi. /// Manchester City XI: Bravo, Walker, Stones, Fernandinho, Angelino, Rodrigo, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Sterling, Aguero.. subs: Carson, Jesus, Silva, Mahrez, Cancelo, Otamendi, Foden.

15:30

Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the colossal Premier League encounter between none other than Liverpool and Manchester City.
