Benrahma's late goal for the club spared them the ignominy of defeat but they will know now their hopes of Champions League football are basically over. Thanks for following the match with us tonight.

West Ham appeal for a penalty after Lingard tried to squeeze an effort towards goal and it clipped Webster's hip which his hand was next to. VAR checked and all ok to carry on.

GOAL FOR WEST HAM! A fantastic curling finish from Benrahma on the edge of the penalty area has West Ham level. What a first goal for the club.

GOAL FOR BRIGHTON! Out of nowhere Brighton are in front. Tau slid a wonderful ball through for Welbeck who dinked the ball over Fabianski with a top class finish.

Great chance for Dawson. A fine cross from Benrahm to the six-yard box was begging for the former West Brom centre back to nod home but he missed the target from a free header.

Lingard plays in Antonio but he is penalised for pushing over White in the box.

Jahanbakhsh comes off for Tau - he's come as close as anyone has to scoring tonight.

Lallana comes on for Alzate for the hosts.

David Moyes brings Benrahma on for Bowen.

Lingard shoots from 20 yards out but high over the crossbar.

So close from Jahanbakhsh, he nips a hopeful the ball ahead of Cresswell and then with Fabianski racing out of goal he clips the ball past the West Ham keeper but also past the far post.

Cresswell puts in a lovely deep cross which Soucek leaps to meet but he can't keep his header down.

Welbeck chases a long ball which stops awkwardly on Ogbonna but the defender manages to poke the ball to his defensive partner Dawson, who clears.

Brighton get us back underway..

Not the most exhilarating half of football but good defending from both side to ensure it has stayed goalless.

Alazate shoots from the edge of the box but it is blocked by Ogbonna.

Soucek shoots from range fiercely enough for Martinez just to parry forward even though it was straight at him. It flew back so quickly it bounced over Fornals as he looked to pounce on the rebound.

West Ham appeal for a penalty after Fornals' shot from close range is blocked.

Chance for Lingard! Cresswell gets to the by-line and pulls back for Lingard who shoots to the keeper's left but a block from White stops it reaching the goal.

Bissouma plays a diagonal ball through for Gross who crosses from the by-line but Fabianski comfortably gathers.

Antonio plays the ball through to Fornals who touches the ball one side of Webster and runs around him but the Albion defenders come back to stop him getting a shot on target.

Chance for Antonio. Lingard picks him out at the far post but he can only loop his header back across goal and Brighton clear.

Trossard shoots from 20 yards but once more a defensive block stops it troubling Fabianski

Lingard races into the box and then falls into a heap but no penalty and Brighton clear the danger.

Lovely low ball from Cresswell which Antonio flicks at the front post but doesn't get a good contact and it flies across the goal.

Welbeck played the ball neatly back to Alzate 20 yards from goal but he saw his effort blocked.

Trossard crosses back into the box but Soucek puts the ball behind for a corner.

Bissouma goes into the box for another nibble at Lingard. Something old school about the lad Yves.

Fornals kicks the ball out as Lingard is down injured after being fouled by Bissouma.

Another nice ball from Jahanbakhsh but Welbeck just can't get on the end of it.

Jakanbakhsh puts through Gross on the right but his cross into the box is cleared.

An open and attractive game so far.

A good low cross from Fornals but no Hammer in the centre to turn it home.

West Ham get us underway...

It really couldn't be anymore after the Lord Mayor's show this match could it? Amazing to put it on after the Cup final - which seems especially true ater one with such an emotional win.

It will be interesting to see how Brighton come out tonight with no fear of relegation. Will they play their best football with a freedom or will the flip flops curb their intensity.

The Hammers are being backed into even money to win tonight, with Brighton a 5/2 shot.

Brighton are without key centre back Lewis Dunk and Ben White is likely to slide over to centre back alongside Adam Webster.

Declan Rice being back is a real fillip for the Hammers. Their chances of a top four spot look all but gone six points behind Chelsea with an inferior goal difference but if there is a post-Cup Final dip from them or the Foxes they need to be there to take advantage.

And these are the Hammers who will take the field in a little over 50 minutes.

This is how the Seagulls will line up...
