Football took a back seat tonight but Chelsea celebrated their intended withdrawal from the European Super League by jumping back into the Champions League spots.
Brighton go seven clear of the relegation zone and could even have won it with two late chances.
White saw red at the end but a good result for the Seagulls and not a terrible one for Chelsea.
