Full Time

A wonderful performance from Chelsea. There can't be many teams around in better form.

Ziyech plays in Havertz who controls the ball beautifully and pushes the ball away from the Palace defenders before shooting too close to Guaita. Almost a complete performance from him.

Ziyech comes on to replace Kovacic, another very impressive performer for the Blues.

GOAL FOR CHELSEA! A fine low cross from the right flank from James finds Pulisic at the far post and he slots home easily.

Townsend replaces Ayew for Palace.

James comes on to replace Hudson-Odoi.

Mount again in a dangerous area plays a ball across the six-yard box but Pulisic just fails to get a touch on it.

Mount is played through on goal but Cahill does well to make a sliding block for a ball destined for just inside the far post.

A lovely through ball from Pulisic plays in Havertz who shoots first time but close to Guaita who saves comfortably.

Benteke suddenly looks alive winning a header down to Ayew who pushes the ball past Rudiger but Mendy comes out to collect.

Palace now have a free kick on the edge of the box after Hudson-Odoi felled Zaha on the edge of the box but Zouma is there to head away the danger.

GOAL FOR PALACE! That didn't seem like it was coming. Schlupp immediately puts in the first good cross his team has managed all game and Benteke heads home with aplomb.

Kante comes on for Jorginho who has had a fine game.

A chain of over 15 passes beginning in their own penalty area ended with Hudson-Odoi playing in Mount whose cross was headed behind by Kouyate.

Riedewald and Eze are replaced by Schlupp and McCarthy for the Eagles.

Lovely intricate play involving Mount, Jorginho and Hudson-Odoi ends with the latter firing a low ball across the box which reaches Chilwell who shoots over the bar.

Lovely cross from Hudson-Odoi and Havertz gets his head to the cross in front of Kouyate but it flies wide of the target.

Hudson-Odoi turns inside from the right flank but sees a left-footed effort blocked.

Palace are closing down the space Chelsea's midfielders have a lot better in this half.

Ayew got the ball in a lot of space 25 yards from goal but his touch is awful and allows Chilwell to close down the space and the chance.

Chilwell is played in well by Pulisic and then turns Ward before firing wide of the target with his right foot.

Chelsea get the second half underway...

Half Time

A fantastic half of football from Chelsea who really seem to be peaking at the right time.

Kovacic plays yet another fine long ball, this a diagonal pass to Hudson-Odoi who shifts the ball to his right before taking an ambitious shot that flies high over the bar.

Palace have at least been able to have a bit of respite the last few minutes after the onslaught of Chelsea attacks over the first half hour or so.

Zouma meets another set piece this time a corner with van Aanholt on the line stopping Chlesea going four up.

Mount exchanges passes with Hudson-Odoi and then makes room to shoot firmly at goal but Guaita saves well.

The first attack of note from Ayew who leaps over Kovacic's challenge on the edge of the box and then squares across the six-yard box but Azpilicueta is there to clear.

GOAL FOR CHELSEA! He threatened a few minutes ago and this time Zouma did head home, rising high above Cahill to head home Mount's free kick into the roof of the net leaving the Palace keeper with no chance.

Kouyate is booked for taking down Chilwell who was in full flight on the break.

Zouma leapt high to meet Chilwell's corner but Cahill got in the way to ensure it did not hit the target.

Havertz looking the best he has since moving to Chelsea. He takes a long ball from Jorginho and flicks it over the head of van Aanholt before aiming a volley at goal that Guaita saves on the stretch.

Kovacic plays a lovely ball over the top that Havertz brings down perfectly but Cahill is there to stop him getting a shot at goal.

Chilwell swings in a corner that former Blue clears with a diving header.

Hudson-Odoi skips around van Aanholt before putting in a dangerous cross that Kouyate clears.

GOAL FOR CHELSEA! Blasted home by Pulisic after Havertz pulled back to the American playmaker who gave the goalkeeper no chance from the corner of the six-yard box.

GOAL FOR CHELSEA! Havertz classily guides the ball into the far corner after first dispossessing Eze in the penalty area and then finding the ball played back to him from Hudson-Odoi.

Jorginho picks out Hudson-Odoi behind the defence just in from the by-line and he sidefoots back to Mount who hits over on the half-volley.

Hudson-Odoi tries to cross for Havertz but Palace clear the danger.

Palace get us underway...

The players are on the centre circle observing a two-minutes' silence before commencing battle.

Chelsea are being backed to win at 1/2 with Palace a 6/1 shot. The draw is 3/1.

Palace will pay lip service to wanting to reach 40 points but look safe on 38 now, 12 clear of third-bottom Fulham with two games in hand.

Liverpool's late winner means Chelsea drop to sixth at present a point behind the Reds and West Ham, who host Leicester tomorrow.

Palace go into the game unchanged from the side who secured a point at Goodison Park on Monday.

Chelsea have made three changes from the side that performed so well in Portugal in midweek. Zouma replaces Christensen in the heart of the defence, with Hudson-Odoi playing instead of James on the right flank and Pulisic replacing Werner further up the field.

And this is the Eagles side who will look to dent Chelsea's hopes of a top four finish this evening.

This is how the Blues will line up at Selhurst Park...
