  • End of 2nd Half

There's full time - Guaita goes long, and the points are shared. Thanks for joining us here on Eurosport, stay tuned with Chelsea v Aston Villa straight on after this.

The ricochet falls to Perez! And the Spaniard fires over! What a chance!

An inswinger off the left boot of Justin, but Barnes can't make contact and Guaita has yet another goal kick.

Nothing doing, goal kick for the hosts.

Diligent tracking from McArthur to turn a dangerous Barnes cross behind. Corner.

Four minutes added on as Guaita goes long.

... over the top.

Gray has asserted himself and the free kick is now his ! Can he hit the target?

A Townsend cross is floated up to Benteke, and his knock down is claimed comfortably by Schmeichel. Now a free kick, 20 yards out for the Foxes. Tielemans over it, as too Demarai Gray

So much more urgency in the game now as both sides are going for the win. Barnes wins a throw well on the left for Leicester, as Palace try and hold on and hit them on the counter.

GOAL! There's the equaliser! Harvey Barnes - driving infield onto the left foot, and drives it beyond Guaita at the near post.

Leicester corner. Nodded away by Tomkins and now perhaps a Palace break? No chance. Another wave of pressure from the visitors.

Vardy down holding his head having chased down a long punt over the top; Kouyate's left hand swipes his face lightly. No intent there from the Palace defender and the striker continues.

An overcooked Gray cross off the right is watched behind by Guaita. Palace will be very happy to sit in now and eek this victory out.

Iheanacho is finally off - Gray on.

Mendy gives away a free kick in the left channel.

It's another poor moment for Iheanacho as his through ball isn't towards Vardy, but into the grateful gloves of Guaita.

Vardy is up top with Iheanacho now; the Nigerian will presumably drop deeper to link play with the veteran spinning in behind.

Vardy's readied up, as Palace come forward again through Clyne down the right.

Jamie Vardy warming up for Leicester.

Zaha is re-energised after that goal. Chasing down, fighting for every cause.

  • Wilfried Zaha
GoalWilfried ZahaCrystal PalaceGOAL! What a man Wilf Zaha is! Brushing past four, five Leicester players, sending it wide for Townsend who cuts inside and swings it in for the Ivorian who peels away around the back, and he caresses the ball inside Schmeichel's near post. Richly deserved for the home side after their significant improvement.

The Belgian's first involvement is a free kick that falls to Barnes, and the left winger fires it into a crowd of bodies.

Foul by Zaha on Mendy, and Choudhury is replaced by Tielemans.

Palace are growing into game properly now. Possession is up; more than Leicester's after the restart, and Youri Tielemans is coming on for the visitors to change that.

Choudhury chops down Schlupp on half way, and gets the game's first yellow.

Another Zaha chance - it breaks to Schlupp down the right, and the Ghanaian prods it into the path of the Ivorian talisman, who fires over with the left foot.

More urgency about the hosts here - Zaha is driving on down the left, seeking a cross, but Schmeichel holds.

Early free kick for Palace to swing in, towards Benteke by Townsend, but comfortably dealt with by the visiting defence.

Here we go again.

  • End of 1st Half

Half time. Back in 15.

One minute added on.

Iheanacho gives away a silly foul in the left channel on Kouyate.

Thomas too, an inswinger, and Guaita palms it behind to make sure.

Wide free kick on the right for Leicester. Perez again over it.

Perez over the set play, but he doesn't get sufficient power behind it and Guaita can recycle possession.

Benteke clatters Mendy after a Barnes cross is nodded away, and a promising free kick positionally for the Foxes.

CLOSE! A drilled Praet cross is flicked over the top off the head of Iheanacho at the near post.

Another deflected Perez cross is knocked back comfortably to Guaita by Tomkins.

CLOSE! Taken quickly and worked nicely out wide to Schlupp, and his cross is diverted wide at the near post by Townsend!

Mendy shoves Benteke over and Palace have the free kick.

CLOSE! A deflected Perez cross almost catches Guaita out and bounces off the bar, and Dennis Praet with a lot of time fires it over!

Palace are growing in confidence slightly after the penalty miss. They're on the ball more, Schlupp and Zaha are carrying it a bit more further up the pitch, and the crosses are being swung in.

Chance for Zaha! All on his own capitalising on an error from Choudhury, but he's crowded out and is forced to settle for the corner, which is nodded over by Benteke.

SAVED! Guiata with a strong hand; a poor pen from the Nigerian - a nice height for the Spaniard.

Iheanacho over the spot kick for the Foxes.

PENALTY! More neat work by Leicester in the channels, down the left this time, and Thomas beats Tomkins to a ricocheted pass from Barnes.

Another clash between Luka Milivojevic and Hamza Choudhury - a feisty little one v one battle here in the engine room.

In towards Evans, hacked away by Riedewald.

More good play from Leicester working it nicely down the right - a cute reverse ball from Perez over the top results in a blocked Justin cross. Corner.

Continued Leicester possession through midfield. looking to build through Mendy and Choudhury, working the ball wider and into the pockets for Praet and Barnes to work in; and Luke Thomas' cross is nodded over by Ayoze Perez at the back post.

Suddenly a lofted through ball from Mitchell, and Zaha finds himself through on goal, but Schmeichel makes the save as the flag is finally raised.

Inswinging Leicester free kick from the boot of Perez, flicked over by Amartey.

It could help Leicester with more of a focal point up top in Kelechi Iheanacho - he'll link play more than Vardy will, allowing for more intricate build up play and neater passing patterns between the two Palace defensive blocks.

Leicester are firmly in control of the ball here. Palace sitting off looking to contain, plenty of touches early on for Daniel Amartey and Jonny Evans in the heart of the defence for the Foxes.

Clear Palace mentality here - two blocks of four out of possession, looking wide and direct for Benteke in the box to aerially attack.

Leicester corner, delivered toward Evans, but comes to nothing as it drops out. Here comes the second phase, building from the back again, are the Foxes.

It seems as though Zaha will be drifting leftwards to attack James Justin and try and exploit the space in behind the attacking right-back.

  • 1st Half

Here we go.

Can Palace avenge their last home performance, a 7-0 drubbing by Liverpool?

Five minutes to kick off. The players are out.

10 minutes to kick off.

Roy Hodgson, meanwhile, explains his changes with 'fresh legs' of his squad players.

Brendan Rodgers has labelled his changes as 'natural', with James Maddison missing out because of knee niggle, and Jamie Vardy's groin problem keeps him benched. Wes Fofana is also out with a knee injury, with the Foxes keeping him fresh for their next game at Newcastle.

Roy Hodgson will make it to his 45th year in football management next week. Exceptional.

The movement of Ayoze Perez off the right wing could be key for the Foxes, as too Dennis Praet in the number 10 hole, with the Belgian expected to roam and orchestrate the attacking transition, sliding the ball wide toward either Barnes or Perez, or knocking it into Iheanacho's feet and asking for the give-and-go. Justin and Luke Thomas will be instructed to bomb forwards on the overlap with Barnes and Perez drifting infield, so the full-backs will in turn become wing-backs to maintain the width.

For Leicester, they should expect Palace to sit off them and look for the counter attacks. In this way, the Foxes will be out of their comfort zones in the sense that they'll be on the front foot; looking to dominate possession and break down the Eagles' stubborn double block of four.

Tactically, we expect more direct play from Palace, soaking up the pressure, before looking long toward Benteke, with the Belgian expected to win the flick-on and support Wilfred Zaha, who will operate in front of, behind, and around the target man - with the hope that he can run the show for the Eagles. Natural midfielder Cheikou Kouyate continues as centre-back, with natural central defender Jairo Riedewald in central midfield instead of the Senegalese - an odd positional reversal that Roy Hodgson has seemed to deploy often this term, with mixed results.

Palace however resort to the same core of the team that fell to a 3-0 defeat at Villa Park but there are a few tweaks - Scott Dann is dropped for James Tomkins at centre-back, along with Ebere Eze and James McArthur dropping out of the engine room to be replaced by Andros Townsend and Jairo Riedewald. Jeff Schlupp will switch to the left wing to accommodate Townsend, whilst Joel Ward and Patrick van Aanholt are replaced by Nathaniel Clyne and Tyrick Mitchell at full-back.

A sensational eight changes for Leicester today - only Kasper Schmeichel, James Justin, Jonny Evans and Harvey Barnes keep their places; with the second-string side being given a chance to impress with the big names being rested on the bench or at home. Jamie Vardy, the hero from that 2-2 draw with United, is on the bench, as too is Caglar Soyuncu, back from injury finally, as too are Wilfred Ndidi and Youri Tielemans.

Meanwhile the visitors have shaken the side up after their 2-2 draw with Manchester United: Schmeichel, Justin, Amartey, Evans, Thomas, Choudhury, Mendy, Perez, Praet, Barnes, Iheanacho.

The home side are back in their 4-4-2: Guaita, Clyne, Kouyate, Tomkins, Mitchell, Townsend, Milivojevic, Riedewald, Schlupp, Benteke, Zaha.
