FT: Everton 2-2 Liverpool. What a game, again, but it is VAR who will dominate the post mortem. Pickford escaped a red card in the first half for a reckless tackle, with Liverpool denied a dramatic, last-gasp winner by a VAR-ruled offside. Incredible drama, once again. Thanks for joining us. Goodbye.

NO GOAL!!!! Would you believe it. Mane is adjudged to be offside in the build up! THOSE DOTTED LINES HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! CONTROVERSY AT GOODISON.
GGGGOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!! Everton 2-3 Liverpool. A captain's goal from Henderson looks to have won it for the champions!
- OnGeorginio WijnaldumLiverpool
Late change for Liverpool with Gini Wijnaldum on for Fabinho.
Five minutes of added time at the end of this.
CAN'T. STOP. SCORING.
Another red card in a Merseyside derby, with Richarlison finally walking off, after receiving treatment for an injury.
- Red cardRicharlisonEverton
RED CARD! Awful, awful tackle from Richarlison given a straight red card!
Less than five minutes to go. This could go either way!
It is DCL's world, and we are just living in it.
SAVE! This is relentless as Pickford saves Everton again, flicking Jota's stabbed effort wide.
That is 10 (TEN) and five in row for the England striker. Great ball out wide by Rodriguez, Digne then floats a lovely cross into the middle, and Calvert-Lewin climbs highest to head home.
- GoalDominic Calvert-LewinEverton
GGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOAAALLLLL!! Everton 2-2 Liverpool. Of course it is that man Calvert-Lewin, who brings this game level once again!
Another superb hit from Salah with his left foot, but Pickford beats the ball away.
One change a piece here, with Alex Iwobi on for Doucoure for Everton, and Diogo Jota replacing Firmino for Liverpool.
WHAT A SAVE! Pickford keeps Everton in it, springing to his right and clawing Matip's header out.
What sort of response have Everton got here? They have not been at it in the second half.
And what a way to do it!
Change for Everton with Gylfi Sigurdsson on for Gomes.
That was not coming! But that is the brilliance of this Liverpool side, and Mo Salah. 100 goals for Liverpool for the Egyptian, and few will be more important! Henderson crossed the ball in, the clearance from Yerri Mina was poor, but Salah, in the blink of an eye, smashed the ball into the bottom corner.
- GoalMohamed SalahLiverpool
GGGOOOOOAALLLLL!!!!! Everton 1-2 Liverpool. A bolt out of the blue as Salah slams Liverpool back in front.
- Yellow cardAndré GomesEverton
Game is getting as little ragged as Gomes is the next player to go into the book for a tackle on Thiago.
- Yellow cardSadio ManéLiverpool
Mane goes into the book for leaping challenge on Digne. Could really have both been booked for that!
SAVE! Rodriguez carries the attack to Liverpool, has options either side, but elects to shoot, with Adrian equal to it, palming the ball away.
Very much so.
Another clipped pass from Thiago but Pickford is out to gather.
So, there you go.
Great ball from Thiago into Firmino, but Digne does well to make the tackle.
POST! Wonderful cross from James Rodriguez to the back post, Richarlison gets up, but heads into the foot on the post! Everton really turning the screw here!
Robertson is fine to continue, and will not be handed any further punishment.
The immediate concern for Liverpool is Robertson is still down.
Robertson flicks out a leg and catches Allan, leaving both on the deck. The VAR is having another look.
CHANCE! Lovely low cross Lucas Digne, into Calvert-Lewin, who looks odds on to score, but misses the ball completely, and Adrian gathers at the second attempt.
CHANCE! Liverpool have started well in the second half here. Cross finds Henderson, who arrives right on cue, but the half volley from the Liverpool skipper is over the top.
Firmino is slipping as he hits one, and that is always flying over.
- 2nd Half
We are back under way. No changes for either side.
Judge for yourself...
- End of 1st Half
HT: Everton 1-1 Liverpool. Great, great game. The main talking point is how Jordan Pickford remains on the pitch after the karate kick on Virgil van Dijk, which ended the Liverpool defender's game. Liverpool impressed early on, but Everton have battled back into this very well.
Adrian still looking a little shaky as he tips over the top rather tentatively.
Four minutes of added time at the end of the first half.
- Yellow cardJames RodríguezEverton
Yellow card for Rodriguez for a challenge of Mane. Free-kick in a dangerous position.
Richarlison shoots off target after a strong run from Godfrey.
Doucoure flashes the ball across, but neither Calvert-Lewin nor Richarlison can get on the end of it.
The debate rahges on...
Lovely interplay between Thiago and Salah, but the Egyptian's effort is tame and easily saved.
Those replays of the Pickford-Van Dijk... Amazing that it was not adjudged to be foul play.
Rodriguez does well to dart past h8is man, before being fouled by Fabinho.
WIDE! Mane nutmegs Abdoulaye Doucoure, feeds Robertson, who returns the ball to Mane, but the Liverpool forward slices wide.
- OffSeamus ColemanEverton
- OnBen GodfreyEverton
Another blow, this time for Everton as Seamus Coleman limps off. Young Ben Godfrey comes on for his Everton debut.
Game is a little scrappy now, but the intensity levels have not dropped at all.
Allan is really getting about in midfield and ruffling a few Liverpool feathers.
Quite the impact.
Super, super game. Both teams getting plenty forward and going for this.
WHAT A SAVE! He may be lucky to still be on the pitch, but Pickford does his confidence the world of good with a fine save from a Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick.
Uncharted territory for Liverpool.
They certainly do look a little vulnerable.
Straight down the other end, Mo Salah slips the ball onto his left, but places a shot straight into the arms of Pickford. This season is just relentless!
Great ball on from Rodriguez, right onto the head of Keane, who heads his fourth goal of the season. Would Van Dijk have made a difference there?
- GoalMichael KeaneEverton
GGGGGOOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!!! Everton 1-1 Liverpool. Out of nowhere, Michael Keane heads the home side level!
Liverpool pressing high, but pressing well. Dominic Calvert-Lewin takes the ball down brilliantly out of the air but fires straight at Adrian.
Mane darts between two before being fouled. Liverpool are REALLY on it here.
Liverpool are a yard quicker than Everton here. Roberto Firmino unleashes a strike at goal but it is blocked.
- OffVirgil van DijkLiverpool
- OnJoe GomezLiverpool
Here is the change as Van Dijk heads down the tunnel. Gomez comes on to partner Matip.
Joe Gomez is getting readied on the bench. Van Dijk's match is over. Huge, huge blow.
What is the ruling on that?
No, offside, Gary.
Dreadful challenge from Pickford. A real mess. The offside is given, just. Ah, those lovely VAR lines.
Jordan Pickford comes flying out of his goal, smashes into Van Dijk, but the Liverpool defender is flagged offside. Much to Pickford's relief. VAR having a check. This could turn sour for Everton quickly.
Fantastic Liverpool move. Swift counter, Andy Robertson skips into the box, pulls it back brilliantly for Mane, who hammers home his fourth Merseyside Derby goal. No goalless draws still this season!
- GoalSadio ManéLiverpool
GGGGGOOOOOAAAALLLL!!! Everton 0-1 Liverpool. Back in the LIverpool team, and back with a goal as Sadio Mane smashes the visitors into the lead.
Early clash between James Rodriguez and Virgil van Dijk leaves the Colombian in a heap.
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! We are under way here at Goodison.
Here we go.
So here we go. This game marks five years to the day since Jurgen Klopp took charge of his first ever Liverpool game. His side have come a long, long way, but their bitter rivals from the blue half of Merseyside are on the up too! We are minutes away!
Such a shame that this occasion isn't in a bouncing Goodison.
So, are Liverpool easier to get at now? The champions have conceded 11 goals in their four Premier League games this season, including seven at Aston Villa last time out. Last season, it took the Reds 13 games to concede 11 goals.
Using his position in the public eye to make a stand.
NO MORE STALEMATES! The last three Premier League meetings between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park have finished 0-0 – no specific fixture in English top-flight history has ever finished goalless in four consecutive matches before.
They couldn't, could they?
Landmark day for the boy from Brazil.
HEAD TO HEAD: Everton are winless in 19 Premier League meetings with Liverpool (D11 L8), since a 2-0 win in October 2010. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 22 meetings with Everton in all competitions – against no side have they ever had a longer run without defeat in their history (also 22 vs Aston Villa between 1981-1992). Seven of the last eight Premier League meetings between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park have finished level, with Liverpool winning the other 1-0 in December 2016.
ALLISON OUT, THIAGO IN, GOMES RETURNS: As expected, Allison is not fit to return in goal for Liverpool, meaning it is a big afternoon for Adrian after his error-strewn display at Villa. Thiago comes in for his first Premier League start, while Sadio Mane also returns to the starting XI. Joel Matip lines up alongside Virgil van Dijk at the back. Everton make two changes to the side that beat Brighton 4-2 last time out as midfielders Allan and Andre Gomes come in, replacing Tom Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson in the starting XI. New signing Ben Godfrey is named on the substitutes bench.

The teams are in... SOME BIG NEWS
Hello and welcome to the Merseyside Derby clash between Everton and Liverpool from Goodison Park. To say this encounter is huge is an understatement. Everton fans are pinching themselves - top of the table with four wins from four. Champions Liverpool come into the contest on the back of an humiliating 7-2 loss at Aston Villa - surely there is no better time for the Toffees to end their 10-year wait, to the day, for a derby victory over the side from across Stanley Park.
