What an incredible match this has been! Leeds have fought for everything in this second half, but it looked like they were protecting a point. Now it seems they have all three in the bag!
- GoalStuart DallasLeeds United
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Manchester City 1 Leeds United 2 (90+1 mins - Stuart Dallas). Wow! Incredible! Leeds have defended with their backs to the walls for the majority of this second half, but they have won it right at the death on the counter! Dallas was played through and he slots the finish underneath Ederson!
There will be three minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
Look at this!
Silva... not far wide! The Portuguese international cuts inside off the right wing to get a shot off on goal, Meslier was rooted to the spot, but the ball flashes wide of the far post!
That last opportunity for Leeds United proves the danger of the way Man City are playing, even against 10 men. There is so much space in behind their defence right now!
RAPHINA WAS THROUGH! What a huge opportunity for Leeds to score a second! Raphina was clean through on goal, but Ederson came off his line to make the sliding tackle!
Leeds United just need to find a way to get out from the back. They did a good job of countering in the first half, but they have found it much tougher sincer the red card.
One of the awkward things about this game for Manchester City is that it is sandwiched between two Champions League quarter final legs against Dortmund. Explains the rotation.
Can Manchester City find a winner in the last 10 minutes of this match? It's been relentless pressure from the Premier League pace-setters since Leeds were reduced to 10 men.
Of course, this week saw de Bruyne sign a new contract with Manchester City. What was unusual about that was the midfielder didn’t negotiate his new terms with an agent!
De Bruyne has been in sensational form of late. The Belgian midfielder was outstanding in last weekend’s win over Leicester City and then scored a stunner in the win over Dortmund, but he’s still on the bench!
- OffBenjamin MendyManchester City
- OnPhil FodenManchester City
It should be noted that Foden was introduced moments before the equaliser.
- GoalFerrán TorresManchester City
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Manchester City 1 (76 mins - Ferran Torres) Leeds United 1. The equaliser had been coming and City are finally back on level terms! Silva was fed the pass inside the box, he played the ball to Torres and the Spaniard found the back of the net. Question off offside against Silva, but he was just on!
PICTURE: Leeds holding firm.
Cancelo tries his luck! This time it's the Portuguese full back who gets the shot away on goal, but that was relatively straightforward for Meslier who makes another solid enough save.
Fernandinho has a go! The Brazilian midfielder decides to take on the strike himself from distance, but Meslier was able to watch it all the way and he pushes the ball over the bar.
Southgate also appears to be a fan of Phillips. The central midfielder featured in England’s recent World Cup qualifiers and is among those hoping to be included in the Euro 2020 squad.
Phillips is such an important player for Leeds United. He is the one who holds things together for Bielsa in the centre of the pitch. He wouldn’t look out of place in a City shirt.
Gundogan shoots over! That's the first time the German midfielder has had a sighter of goal since coming off the bench, but he could only send the ball over the Leeds United bar!
- Yellow cardEzgjan AlioskiLeeds United
Alioski is shown a yellow card as Leeds United dig deep to stay ahead!
Harrison isn’t permitted to face his parent club this afternoon which is a shame because the on-loan Man City winger has enjoyed another excellent season at Leeds United. Good player who would have given Leeds an outlet on the break down to 10.
It’s only a matter of time until Manchester City are crowned Premier League champions for the third time in the last four years. Nobody has been able to stick with Guardiola’s side, but Leeds are giving them a real test!
- OffTyler RobertsLeeds United
- OnRobin KochLeeds United
Leeds United make their second change of the match and Koch is on for the away side.
SILVA... wide! How didn't that end up in the back of the net? Silva had a clear shooting opportunity eight yards out, but his strike picks up a deflection and flashes wide of the target!
- OffNathan AkéManchester City
- OnIlkay GündoganManchester City
Here's the change for City and Gundodgan is on for Ake. Can he make the difference?
Meslier denies Stones! The space opened up for the Man City centre back just over 20 yards out from goal, but Stones' powerful strike was straight at Meslier in the Leeds goal.
PICTURE: Leeds still ahead!
It looks like Guardiola is going to make a change to his City team here as they search for an equaliser. Gundogan is getting ready on the touchline. City need one of his goals!
This was the red card. Correct decision?
Zinchenko with the shot! That was a golden opportunity for Man City to draw level, but Meslier makes the dave from Zinchenko who got the shot away from the edge of the box!
Zinchenko delivers the corner kick from the right side into the Leeds United penalty area, but that's an easy enough catch for Meslier. The full back has to have a better final product.
There’s no sign of Aguero for Manchester City this afternoon. The Argentine isn’t even in the squad for the champions-elect. Is that a sign of an injury? Has he picked up a knock?
Into the wall! City win a freekick in a dangerous position 20 yards out, but Zinchenko could only send his effort into the wall. Meslier escapes without being tested from the set piece.
PICTURE: Dallas opened the scoring
Will we see any tactical changes from Biesla in this second half now that his team are down to 10 men? Leeds United at least have a lead to protect. Can they do that?
Things got lively at the end of the first half with Dallas scoring the opener and Cooper being shown a straight red card within minutes of each other. How will City respond?
- 2nd Half
The second half is under way! Leeds United have a 1-0 lead over Manchester City in this Premier League fixture.
- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Manchester City 0-1 Leeds United. Dallas' goal has given Leeds the lead at the Etihad Stadium, but the red card shown to Cooper has changed the complexion of the contest.
Stones heads wide! Not far away from being an equaliser right at the end of the half as Stones gets on the end of a cross into the middle, but he could only head wide of the post.
- OffPatrick BamfordLeeds United
- OnPascal StruijkLeeds United
Biesla makes a change in response to the red card with Bamford coming off for the away side.
This was the Leeds goal...
- Red cardLiam CooperLeeds United
SENT OFF! Cooper has indeed been shown a straight red card after a VAR review for a high tackle on Jesus. He won the ball, but then caught the Brazilian with the follow through.
High tackle on Jesus! The referee has shown a yellow card to Cooper for a high tackle on Jesus, but he will now take another look on the pitchside monitor. Could this be a red?
It's been such an open game that Guardiola can't have too many complaints about Leeds United taking the lead. They have the quality to score goals against anyone.
- GoalStuart DallasLeeds United
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Manchester City 0 Leeds United 1 (42 mins - Stuart Dallas). Leeds have taken the lead at the Etihad! Costa got on the end of a pass down the right side, found Bamford who in turn fed Dallas on the edge of the box and he guided a low finish into the back of the net off the inside of the post!
City have got better over the course of the first half, but their decision making has so far let them down in the final third. Guardiola will want to see a big improvement there.
While Sterling has certainly improved his shooting over his time as a Manchester City player, there is still a sense that he is too wasteful in front of goal. That last chance proves it.
Best chance so far! Fernandinho bursts into the Leeds penalty area down the right and cuts back the pass for Sterling who was free. However, he skews his shot wide of the target. Oh dear.
Sterling shoots over! The England international has seen a lot of the ball in this first half, but he shoots over the target after creating the space for himself on the edge of the area.
- Yellow cardNathan AkéManchester City
Ake is shown the first yellow card of the match for a foul on Bamford.
Headed over! Torres gets on the end of a freekick delivery into the Leeds United box, but the Spanish attacker could only direct his header over the target. He might have tested Meslier.
PICTURE: Ayling has been solid
Guardiola will surely want his team to create more in the attacking third. City are seeing plenty of the ball, but Leeds United aren't giving them much space in and around the box.
Save by Meslier! Stones played the pass through to Fernandinho who made a run into the box, but the Leeds United goalkeeper makes the save with his legs at the near post.
It should be noted that Leeds United have already taken points off Manchester City this season with the reverse fixture ending 1-1 at Elland Road. City have improved a lot since then, though.
Ake has been handed his first start since before Christmas by Guardiola today. The Dutch defender hasn’t been able to make much of an impression since signing from Bournemouth.
Penalty claim! City believe they should have had a spot kick for what they saw as a handball by Ayling inside the box, but the officials have decided there was nothing in it.
The argument could be made that Leeds United are the worst opponents City could face as they attempt to preserve their energy for the Dortmund game. They are so high energy as a team!
The match is just starting to find its tempo now. City are pushing themselves higher up the pitch as they attempt to break down Leeds while the away side are countering at pace.
Torres blocked! Jesus blocked! A corner kick fell to Torres inside the box, Cooper makes the block. The ball then falls to Jesus, but his shot is also blocked by Bamford! Danger for Leeds!
Bielsa will surely be pleased with how his team has started this match. On the balance of the opening 20 minutes here, Leeds United have more than held their own against City.
PICTURE: No early breakthrough
Sterling is denied! The Manchester City winger gets down the left wing and cuts inside into the box, but his low strike is straight at Meslier and the Leeds keeper makes the save.
It will be interesting to see how this Manchester City frontline plays this afternoon. Will Torres be the one through the middle or will he be playing the Mahrez role out on the right side? Looks like he's on the right.
Cross into the middle! Cancelo gets down the right side and whips a delivery into the Leeds penalty area, but Alioski wins it under pressure from Jesus in the middle. Headed clear.
Bamford in the middle! Roberts is played in behind the City defence, he played the reverse pass, but it was behind Bamford in the middle! Another good opportunity for Leeds!
Leeds United come into this match on the back of two consecutive 2-1 victories, but Biesla’s side haven’t won three games in a row all season. Can they break that pattern at the Etihad?
Raphina is getting a lot of joy in behind Mendy. Manchester City seem pretty open on that side and this is putting a lot of pressure on Ake to come across and cover the ground.
That's the second time Jesus has been caught in the opening 10 minutes or so. The Brazilian is running off a bit of a hobble, but he should be fine to continue. In the wars.
The omens are good for Manchester City this afternoon. Indeed, the Premier League pace-setters have won 18 of their last 19 league games. Will this be 19 out of 20 today?
This has actually been a good start by Leeds United. City have seen more of the ball, but it could be argued that the away side have done more with it in the attacking third.
City come into this match on the back of a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the quarter finals of the Champions League. Will Guardiola’s side suffer any European hangover?
Offside against Mendy! The Manchester City left side foots an effort wide of the post from inside the box, but the flag was up against him. He was indeed offside from Torres' pass.
Costa makes a run down the left side, but Alioski couldn't find him. There is a sense that there is space in behind Manchester City for Leeds United to exploit. Interesting start.
Raphina was in behind! There was a lot of space in behind the City defence, Raphinha exploited it and cut the pass into the middle, but the ball was slightly behind Bamford. Good chancce!
What sort of match will we get this afternoon? We all know that Leeds United can play some exhilarating attacking football, but will they be able to do that against the best defence in the league?
- 1st Half

Okay, here we go. We are about to get under way at the Etihad Stadium. Kick off is coming up soon!
Leeds United fixtures have produced more than any other in the Premier League this season. Is that a sign that this will be another good one?
Not long until kick off at the Etihad Stadium. It's a freezing cold afternoon! It was snowing earlier!
I'm Graham Ruthven and you can catch me on Twitter ahead of the match to let me know your thoughts. Can Leeds United cause an upset at the home of the champions-elect? Tweet me - @grahamruthven!
No Harrison! Leeds United have made just one change to their lineup for this match with Costa coming in for Harrison who can't play against his parent club. Consistent side.
Guardiola has rotated a number of key figures out of his City team. Of course, the Premier League leaders have a crucial match against Dortmund in the Champions League next week.
No Aguero! After starting against Leicester City last weekend, there's no sign of Aguero for Manchester City today. Guardiola confirms that he hasn't trained for "three or four days."
