Dias trips Kane and goes into the book. Seconds later Torres trips Moura from behind.

Despite the changes, City look tired and out of ideas. As it stands they are 10th in the table.

Reguilon looks to be okay to continue, he's had a great game.

Aldeweireld has gone down in agony, he looks to have a groin injury.

Kane has been excellent today with his movement and passing, similar to Wayne Rooney in his pomp.

Ouch. Kane with a neck high rugby challenge on Cancelo, escapes a card.

Ederson is making more mistakes this season than in his previous seasons with City put together.

Lo Celso scores with his first touch.

Dangerous from Ederson. Kane with a ball ovber the top to Son, who goes past the keeper with ease but runs the ball out of play. Cancelo was also caught napping.

Laporte catches an accidental boot to the face from Aldeweireld's foot after a cross came in from Mahrez. He looks to be okay to continue.

Brilliant from Dier. He blocks Rodri's cross then blocks De Bruyne's stinging drive.

Pep is having a look at his subs. He has plenty of talent to bring on - Foden, Aguero, Sterling.

Spurs are preparing to make a sub. Bale is warming up.

You have to feel for Jesus, the service has been uncharacteristically poor. Cancelo's ball in goes out of play.

Poor from KDB. He has Jesus waiting for the cross but ends up clipping a very poor cross out for a goal kick.

TAME EFFORT: Mahrez cuts inside off his wing but makes another poor decision by shooting straight at Lloris. He looks most at risk of being hooked oiff.

CHANCE! De Bruyne curls a shot towards the bottom corner but it spins a few yards wide of the post. Lloris had it covered.

Rodri decides to have a pot shot from 22 yards, Dier makes the block.

Similar pattern to the first half, City having the lions share of the possession.

KICK OFF: Spurs get the second half underway. No changes made by either side at the break.

  • End of 1st Half

HALF TIME: Spurs lead 1-0 from Son's early goal. City have dominated possession and had a goal from Laporte ruled out by VAR for off-side. But Spurs' gameplan has gone to plan so far.

A frustrated De Bruyne fires a shot from 30 yards which deflects behind for a corner. There was no decent passing option on.

A very flattering graphic of Mike Dean.

Mahrez fails to run onto a ball over the top from Walker, the Algerian looks a bit below par.

CHANCE! Brilliant pass from to Torres who dinks it Mahrez. It falls to Jesus on the angle but he fires a shot wide.

It wont be a surprise if Sterling and/or Aguero are brought on at the break. City need an injection of sparkiness.

City's tempo has dropped since that disallowed goal.

Spurs have not had many shots at goal, less possession but are ahead and look more threatening in the final third. Classic Jose tactics.

Laporte gives Cancelo a roasting for failing to track his runner. That has happened too many times in the first half.

I'm not sure that is handball from Jesus, it appeaed to hit his chest then his thigh.

LAPORTE'S GOAL DISALLOWED! Mike Dean runs to the monitor to have a look. Its handball and it remains 1-0 Spurs.

GOAL FOR CITY! Jesus brings down Mahrez's ball, cuts it back for Laporte to score from around 15 yards. But did it hit his hand?

Great counter from Spurs. just as Bergwijn was about to shoot Rodri does well to nick the ball off his toe.

Spurs enjoying more possession now. Their gameplan looks to be coming up roses so far.

De Bruyne with an inviting near post cross to Rodri who doesnt make good enough contact with a flicked header and Aurier does enough to divert it away from danger.

Alderweireld, Dier and Hojbjerg, proper physical Mourinho players, have started the game impressively.

Some nice passing moves from City but the home side have defended well. Goals has been a big problem for Pep's side this season.

9 goals in 9 PL games for the man they call Sonny.

CLOSE! City have had 75% possession. They win a free-kick, De Bruyne whips in a cross and Rodri's header goes narrowly wide.

DISALLOWED GOAL! Spurs slice open City with ease. Son finds Kane but he is flagged off-side as he bobbled the ball in.

Torres goes down under a challenge in the box from Sissoko. No pen given, looked to be a correct decision.

CLOSE! Oh dear. Jesus blocks a goalbound shot from De Bruyne with his back after the Brazilian had set up the chance. An offside flag is then given against Jesus.

City stepping up the pace on the flanks, particularly Mahrez.

Ederson was way off his line and the ball went through his legs. What a start!

  • Heung-Min Son
GoalHeung-Min SonTottenham HotspurGOAL FOR SPURS! Ndombele with a lovely ball over the top to Son who fires it in from the edge of the box. Great run from the South Korean.

GOAL FOR SPURS! Ndombele with a lovely ball over the top to Son who fires it in from the edge of the box. Great run from the South Korean.

Torre, who scored a treble for Spain in midweek, with a lovely reverse pass to Silva but Aldeweireld does well to clear the danger.

CHANCE! Burst of pace from Torres from Cancelo's pace, he lets fly from around 20 yards and its comfortably saved.

KICK OFF: We are underway after a minute's applause to remember the great Ray Clemence, who died last weekend.

COUNTDOWN: 5 mins till kick off!

As the table stands, Spurs are third, and could go top with a win, while Man City are down in tenth.

Mourinho sparked fury after saying Gareth Southgate should name managers who pressurise players to withdraw from international duty.

He said "we all know" Raheem Sterling will face Spurs despite his England withdrawal.

"I would like him to say who. Who are the coaches that put pressure on the players not to go?

"Who are the coaches that put pressure on the players not to go?"

Since Mourinho took over as Tottenham manager a year ago yesterday, the North London club have won 62 points in the Premier League. This is the third most, behind only Man City (68) & Liverpool (82). It begs the question, do some Manchester United fans regret the club giving him the boot in 2018?

In the buildup to the game, Mourinho has had a dig at Gareth Southgate and Raheem Sterling.

Guardiola hit back at Mourinho after he cast doubt over the legitimacy of Raheem Sterling’s withdrawal from England duty after he returned to City training on Friday.

Pep said: “Mourinho has to speak to the doctor for the national team of England and the doctor for Manchester City.

“He has to go to the doctors of the national team and Manchester City. Except maybe Mourinho is a doctor, I don’t know."

Sterling, who withdrew from England duty with a calf injury, is on the bench with Mahrez replacing him. Aguero is also on the bench with Jesus starting while Bernardo comes in for Gundogan.

For Spurs, Bergwijn is a surprising inclusion ahead of Bale given his form and being sent home from international duty. Aurier replaces Doherty who tested positive for coronavirus.
