It's a massive win for Tottenham as they go top of the Premier League table with a masterclass in defensive counter-attacking football. It's a great day for them, but it's another disappointing one for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal as they extend their winless league run to four matches.

We're going to have a pause in play as Kane and Gabriel clash heads. They are both up and back on their feet now.
SUB! We're not going to see Gareth Bale at all today. Joe Rodon comes on for Steven Bergwijn.
THREE minutes of added time. Three minutes from Tottenham going top of the Premier League table...
SUB! Son comes off to a standing ovation in front of the 2,000 supporters for Lucas Moura.
Tottenham have had 29 per cent possession in this half and have had zero shots on goal. It's classic Jose. Harry Kane has had more touches in his own box this game than in the Arsenal box. It tells you how Tottenham have defended as a unit this evening.
SHOT! Aubameyang attempts to unleash a fierce shot on goal from inside the box, but Alderweireld comes to the rescue. The Belgian makes a brilliant sliding block to deny the Gabon international!
Tottenham are now sitting in their own half happy to soak up any Arsenal pressure that comes their way. It's been too methodical from Arsenal as Willian's cross is poorly headed wide by Saka.
- Yellow cardAlexandre LacazetteArsenal
YELLOW! Tottenham counter and Lacazette is booked for tripping over Son.
Arsenal keep whipping the crosses in but no one is meeting them. It's been the story of the game and it is playing right into Tottenham's hands right now.
- OffHéctor BellerínArsenal
- OnEddie NketiahArsenal
YELLOW! Xhaka needlessly barges over Son and gets a booking for his troubles. It's classic Xhaka, really.
SUB! Eddie Nketiah comes on for Bellerin.
- OffGiovani Lo CelsoTottenham Hotspur
- OnBen DaviesTottenham Hotspur
SUB! Lo Celso comes off slowly, which agitates Rob Holding, for Ben Davies. There is a pause in play as Saka appears to have a nosebleed.
GOOD SAVE! Bellerin's cross finds Lacazette at the near post, but his header is parried behind by Lloris! The following corner sees the Aresnal players swarm Lloris but the delivery into the box is poor and Tottenham clear their lines yet again.
Arsenal have not played badly but not particularly well either. A lot of their attacks seem to revolve around crossing aimless balls into the box. However, Tottenham have defended excellently so far.
Tierney's cross is headed into the air before Willian on the spin directs his shot over the bar.
Tierney's long throw is headed clear by Sissoko before Kane fouls Gabriel 40-yards from goal. Weirdly Davies, warming up on the sideline, was blocking Tierney's run with his lunge and receives a bit of a warning from referee Atkinson.
Tottenham have a corner which Son plays in but Gabriel gets there and heads clear.
There's plenty of noise coming from the 2,000 Tottenham fans inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening. They will be loving what they are seeing so far.
Arsenal have a corner after some good work from Ceballos. Willian's cross is punched away by Lloris before Spurs hoof clear.
Saka is fouled by Sissoko and Atkinson, after initially playing advantage, pulls it back. The French midfielder does not get a booking, but a stern word instead from Mr Atkinson.
Bellerin drives a low ball across the goalmouth looking for Lacazette but he hesitates and fails to meet it. Tottenham counter with pace and Sissoko's cross is nodded back to Leno by Ceballos. The Spurs players are appealing for a backpass and Mourinho sarcastically laughs at the fourth official over on the touchline.
CLOSE! Arguably Arsenal's best chance of the game. Tierney plays a brilliant cross into the area which Aubameyang meets in the centre of the penalty box, but he nods it over the bar!
Arsenal have another free-kick which Saka curls into the box. Lacazette gets his head on it but Lloris did well to get down and clutch the ball to his chest.

BACK UNDERWAY! Can Arsenal get back into this?
- OffThomas ParteyArsenal
- OnDani CeballosArsenal
Kane's goal was so typical of Spurs this season. A ruthless counter-attack involving Son that ended up with the Englishman clinically dispatching his shot away.
- End of 1st Half
Partey wanted to come off when that move was unfolding and Ceballos comes on for the Ghana international moments before the half-time whistle is blown. Tottenham comfortably lead against their old rivals at the break.
- GoalHarry KaneTottenham Hotspur
GOAL! Spurs counter with four vs two. Son plays in Kane to his left.... and the Englishman rifles the ball into the roof of the net for his 100th Spurs home goal! Another brilliant Tottenham counter-attack pays off!
Bellerin's cross into the box is headed clear by... that man Kane again! The Spurs players are all playing their part defensively. Willian's corner is cleared.
Lacazette is fouled by Lo Celso on the edge of the area. The Spurs midfielder is playing a risky game here although it did not really look like a foul. Anyway it's an Arsenal free-kick which Lacazette is standing over. The Frenchman's free-kick is headed clear by Kane in the wall.
- Yellow cardGiovani Lo CelsoTottenham Hotspur
YELLOW! For Lo Celso after a late challenge on Willian. The Argentine has put in a few naughty challenges today.
Aubameyang's cross nearly find Willian but Spurs clear. Bellerin then follows up with a drilled cross which Hojbjerg boots away. The Danish midfielder is playing really well today... he's been seemingly everywhere. Tottenham are getting pushed deeper and deeper by Arsenal.
Lo Celso knocks over Saka and Arsenal have another set-piece. Can they capitalise this time around? Saka plays the free-kick short to Bellerin and his wayward cross is cleared by Sissoko. That was woeful.
Son swings in a Spurs corner which Lacazette heads clear at the near post.
Dier gets a goal-kick off Lacazette and Arsenal are looking increasingly frustrated. Tottenham are stifling this Arsenal attack at the moment.
We've reached the half-hour mark and although Arsenal have had lots of the ball, they are struggling to break down this resolute Tottenham defence as Hojbjerg hoofs clear after Reguilon nods away a Saka cross.
Arsenal are lacking creative sparkle. Where's Mesut Ozil? Oh yeah, not in the squad...
SHOT! Hojbjerg unleashes a ferocious shot on goal from around 25-yards out in a bit of space but it's straight at Leno and the German catches it.
Son's stunner has left Arsenal a bit shell-shocked. They know they have to push up but they cannot leave Kane and Son free to break forward. It's a tough position the visitors find themselves in.
A deadly duo.
Tottenham have a corner which Lo Celso whips into the box. Holding heads clear.
Here is Son's spectacular goal in all its glory...
Arsenal have settled a bit more now but this game is now playing right into Jose Mourinho's hands. Get an early lead then sit back and look to counter. It's been a brilliant start to this north London derby.
Willian's cross from a set-piece on the left flank is excellently headed clear by Dier.
That goal was truly sensational. Son's 13th goal of the season is one to remember. A fantastic hit! How will Arsenal respond? It began as a classic Spurs counter-attack with Kane combining with his teammate. Arsenal will be wary of the hosts' threat on the break when they push for an equaliser.
- GoalHeung-Min SonTottenham Hotspur
WHAT A GOAL!! Son scores an absolute stunner! From around 30-yards out, the South Korea international picks Kane's pass up, cuts inside and whips the ball into the top corner... Leno had no chance! What a goal! Spurs lead!
SHOT! Partey has a pop from range but his strike is poor. It flies well wide of Lloris' left post.
A lazy pass from Dier to Lloris forces an Arsenal throw deep in Spurs' half. The Gunners are seeing plenty more of the ball now.
Tierney launches his throw into the box which Aurier clears. It seemed a bit wasteful with no Arsenal player even close to meeting it.
Aurier slides in on Tierney and Spurs have a goal-kick. Just moments ago Lacazette appeared to kick out at Hojbjerg but referee Atkinson is not too fussed by it.
Kane fouls Lacazette and now Arsenal have a free-kick around 35-yards out. Willian and Saka are standing over it and the Brazil international curls it in, but Reguilon heads clear before Saka fires over the bar.
Tottenham have started better here and have had almost all of the ball. Neither side are in a rhythm yet.
Dier steps up... but he curls his free-kick well over the bar.
OUCH! Xhaka wipes out Kane and Spurs have a free-kick around 25-yards out in a good position. Really, the Swiss should be booked for that but referee Martin Atkinson is keeping his cards in his pocket.

KICK-OFF! We are underway at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with 2,000 fans making their voices heard in the South Stand... here we go...
Jose Mourinho's Spurs have not suffered a defeat in the league since the season's opening weekend and have the opportunity to move 11 points clear of their north London rivals Arsenal when they meet this afternoon.
Arsenal, in contrast, have struggled for consistency and sit 15th in the table, while their tally of 13 points is their lowest after their opening 10 matches of any league campaign since the 1981-82 season.
Kick-off coming up shortly!
Tottenham find themselves to be unlikely title challengers in the Premier League, and plans are afoot to cement that status in January when the transfer window opens. In the latest Inside Football, Dean Jones reveals which defenders Tottenham are targeting, which big names could leave, and who might be getting a bumper new pay rise..
There is no sugarcoating the significance of this game for Mikel Arteta. Another loss for the Spaniard this afternoon against the club's fiercest rivals and his job will surely be on the line.
A reminder there will be 2,000 fans in attendance this afternoon.
Top-of-the-table Spurs could expose Arsenal in the most brutal way possible, with Jose Mourinho's men targeting title glory while the Gunners flounder. Tottenham have changed as a team and a club under the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager, while Mikel Arteta has been made to work with the same restrictions that saw Unai Emery fail so spectacularly. Check out Graham Ruthven's excellent piece below...
PAUL PARKER'S PREDICTION
It's a big game, but it's always a big game. In local derbies it's never wise to just go by the league position, but sometimes it does bear relevance - even in this weird season, where results are not always going as expected.
Arsenal, however, are on the crest of a disaster. Mikel Arteta was meant to be the greatest manager since Arsene Wenger, but since then their form has dropped off a cliff. They have been awful.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the captain in name, but he isn't playing like one. Since he has signed his new contract he has been so much less impressive in front of goal. They are now poor up front.
That is compounded by their weakness at the back, where they are too vulnerable. It has to be a home win.
Prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal
The Tottenham bus has been parked... and it's not even kick-off yet.
Three changes for Arsenal. Thomas Partey is back from injury so he starts for the Gunners. Rob Holding and Alexandre Lacazette also come in. Dani Ceballos and Joe Willock are on the bench while David Luiz is not in the matchday squad.
Two changes for Tottenham. Toby Alderweireld returns after three games out in place of Joe Rodon. Giovani Lo Celso comes in for Tanguy Ndombele in central midfield. Hugo Lloris, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Kane were all slight injury doubts, but they all start this afternoon.
Tottenham XI: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon, Sissoko, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Son, Kane.
Subs: Hart, Rodon, Davies, Winks, Moura, Bale, Vinicius.
Arsenal XI: Leno, Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Willian, Xhaka, Partey, Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang.
Subs: Runarsson, Mustafi, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Ceballos, Willock, Nketiah.
With Arsenal down in 15th, they certainly do have to win this today to take some of the pressure off Arteta. Arsenal have not won in the Premier League since a 1-0 victory over Manchester United on November 1.
Here we go... the North London Derby. Welcome to Eurosport's live digital coverage of Tottenham vs Arsenal in the Premier League! A win for Spurs today and they will return to the top of the Premier League table and what better way for Jose Mourinho's men to do it then by getting one over fierce rivals Arsenal, with boss Mikel Arteta under fierce pressure to turn around the Gunners' dismal run of form.
Kick-off is at 4:30pm (GMT) with team news coming right up...
