FULL-TIME: Wolves 1-1 Southampton
A strong last 20 minutes to the game for Wolves after the introduction of Neto denies Southampton the win after Walcott's opening goal, but they will be rueing the one-on-one he missed shortly afterwards that potentially cost them the win. In the end though a draw is a fair result for a match in which no team really imposed themselves.

It's Hasenhuttl's turn to make his second substitution now and France under-21 international Ibrahima Diallo comes on for Armstrong, who has had a good outing this evening.

WHAT A SAVE!! McCarthy makes another fantastic save with his feet to deny Neto a second goal! Walker-Peters is dispossessed not too far away from his own 'keeper who steps up to save his blushes there.

GOAL DISALLOWED!! Moutino sends in yet another free-kick and Jimenez rises to head it home at the near post before the goal is quickly chalked off for offside.

GOOOAALLLLLL!!! An equaliser for Wolves! Moutinho injects some urgency into the attack as he plays it into Jimenez on the edge of the area and makes a run looking for the return pass. Instead, Jimenez turns and fires a powerful shot against the left post but the Saints defence are caught sleeping as Neto turns super-sub and pounces on the rebound to score!

SAVED!! Neto finds space down the left straight after coming on and has a shot well-saved by McCarthy's legs.

Wolves make their first change and it's an attacking one. Neves comes off for Pedro Neto. This looks to signal a change to 4-4-2 with Podence joining Jimenez centrally and the duo of Neto and Traore operating as wide men.

CLOSE!! What a chance for Wolves to equalise! It's a well-worked free-kick that finds Jimenez beyond the Saints defensive line but he miscontrols the ball and it rolls out for a goal-kick. He would've been in a fantastic position to shoot if he brought that down better.

SOO CLOSE!!! What a pass from Adams, who lofts a ball from deep in midfield to put Walcott through on goal. He has plentiful time and space but puts the ball marginally wide of the goal and the onrushing Patricio.

GOOOOAAAALLL!! 15 years after his league goal for Southampton, Walcott smashes home from close range! Djenepo floated a cross into the right corner of the box and Adams has his first attempt at a cross blocked before driving the ball along the ground, cross-goal to Walcott who emphatically opens the scoring.

CLOSE!! Ait-Nouri involved again as he crosses into Jimenez from the left but the Mexican striker is unable to connect with the ball cleanly and it's a missed opportunity to compensate for his lack of involvement so far this evening.

SAVED!! McCarthy is in red-hot form this evening! Podence drills a shot at the near post after being fed through by Ait-Nouri and beating Vestergaard but McCarthy palms it away.

That's the Traore we know! He storms forward down the right, leaving Bednarek in his wake and floats in a cross trying to find Podence by the far post on the left but there's too much on it and it goes out for a goal kick. Hasenhuttl is fuming on the touchline because he believes there was a foul on Walcott in the build-up.

Moutinho's free-kick finds its way to Dendoncker who awkwardly hits the ball wide. The flag is up though and he's offside anyway.

Back underway with the second half now!
Southampton have looked much better on the ball but perhaps more exposed in defence. Overlapping runs on either wing seem to be creating the majority of their chances but Wolves have done well to remain compact defensively and pack their box with bodies.
Lots of Wolves fans upset with the slightly cautious style of play on show, with Southampton dominating possession and Wolves looking to win the ball and use their pace to attack on the counter.
Some controversy over refereeing decisions too as many understandably feel that Romeu and Vestergaard's two fouls that led to free-kicks were not much better than the fouls Neves and Traore got yellow cards for late on in the half.
Will be interesting to see if the game opens up a bit more in the second half!
