A wonderful solo goal from De Bruyne in the 71st minute against his former club gives Man City the double over Chelsea in the league. They move 13 points clear at the top of the table. Thanks for following the game with us..
Walker slides in a low ball but Jesus cannot get on the end of it. City have still been on top.

SUB FOR CITY:
Gundogan is on for the skipper De Bruyne, who gets a hug from his manager.
Lovely run from Sterling who tees up Foden who drills it over from outside the box.
- OffMarcos AlonsoChelsea
- OnMason MountChelsea
Mount is on for Alonso with Hudson-Odoi dropping to wing back.
Silva is penalised for a foul near the touchline around 35 yards from goal. Hudson-Odoi's delivery is a poor one and De Bruyne clears.
GOOD WORK FROM EDERSON:
Kante finds Azpilcueta in space whose low cross is well held by Ederson.
Fantastic challenge from Silva in the box, him, Rudiger and Sarr have been impresive.
Brilliant block from Laporte to get in the way of Werner's shot.

WHAT A GOAL!
De Bruyne with a fantastic run and curling shot into the bottom corner from outside the box.

CHELSEA CHANGES:Werner and Hudson-Odoi are both on for Ziyech and Pulisic making way.
Sterling takes on Sarr and fires in a low shot from inside the box that is narrowly wide.
CHELSEA CORNER: The delivery is floated towards Lukaku and City clear. Alonso is then penalised for an old fashioned shove on Grealish.
CITY STILL ON TOP:
Is surprising Tuchel has yet to make a change, that's been a criticism from some fans on social media that he can dither over changing things. Wener and Hudson-Odoi still warming up.
CITY FREE KICK: Azpilcueta is penalised for tripping Grealish. De Bruyne's freekick is saved by Kepa. From the resulting corner, Kepa claws it away.
Tuchel is again irate at a poor through ball from Alonso towards Lukaku who had made a good run behind the City backline.
CITY CORNER: The home side cranking up the pressure. Its a near post delivery and Azpilcueta heads it behind. From the second corner, Azpilcueta again heads it away.
STERLING PENALTY SHOUT:
Stones' long ball to Walker who plays in Sterling who is sandwiched between two players. That would have been soft. An offside flag is raised in any case.
CITY FREEKICK:Its around 25 yards out. De Bruyne's delivery is again a poor one and Kepa collects.
CITY LOOKING DANGEROUS:
It's been a similar pattern to the first half, City firing in lots of low crosses. This time its Grealish with a delicious ball in but noone is there to convert. But Chelsea still look a threat, particularly Lukaku.
PENALTY SHOUT/LUKAKU CHANCE: Lukaku is through on goal, his first time shot is beaten away by Ederson off his line. Ziyech makes a mess of the rebound.
Seconds earlier, Sterling had a penalty shout but the ref said play on.
No changes made by either side. SO for City it will be more of the some but being more clinical. Chelsea need to get Pulisic, Ziyech and Lukaku in the game.

KICK OFF: We are back underway.
- End of 1st Half
Its been a fascinating tactical battle between two quality teams but it has yielded few chances. City have been the better side, Grealish wasted their best chance, forcing Kepa into a good save.
ADDED TIME: There will be one added minute.
CHANCE! Grealish cuts it back for De Bruyne who from a tight angle wallops a shot well over.
That was a rare lapse of concentration from the visitors at the back. But in midfield Chelsea have been second best by far, Lukaku has been starved of service, something Tuchel needs to address at the break.
Kovacic gives it away, it falls to Grealish who bursts into the box and his stabbed shot is saved by Kepa for a corner which is cleared. Grealish should have scored.
CITY CORNER: De Bruyne's cross is fired straight at Azpilcuera, his passing has been off today.
Good driving run from Foden into the box, he puts in a good low across but noone is there to anticipate it and Alonso clears.
CITY CORNER: The corner is headed away by Rudiger. Defensively, the Blues have been almost flawless.
Kovacic is booked for bringing down Silva from behind around 30 yards out. The resulting freekick form De Bruyne is ckeared by Alonso for a corner.
You would expect Mount to come on at some point if it stays like this. Pulisic hasn't utilised the ball so far as well as you would expect him to in those little pockets behind Lukaku. The American ahs taken too many touches before releasing it.
MORE CIY PRESSURE:
Cancelo's cross is flicked away, it falls to Rodri on the byline whose low cross is cleared. City are dominating now.
Silva's through ball goes through Sarr's legs and just evades Sterling in the box.
It's not been a game blessed with lots of chances and end to end stuff but tactically it's been a good watch with both sides looking solid, organised and some tasty challenges flying around.
Good challenge from Sarr on Sterlung in the box to force a corner. Foden's delivery is overhit and its a goal kick. Disappointing corner but the pressure is building.
Tuchel is frustrated after another misplaced pass, this time from Ziyech aiming for Lukaku. That is the second time the pair haven't linked up in a great position.
Cancelo's cross takes a deflection and it goes behind for a corner. The delivery finds Stones at the back post whose header is straight at Kepa.
Beautiful long ball from Cancelo to De Bruyne and his cuts back is a poor one and Alonso clears.
Lukaku gets past Stones and his pass to Ziyech in the box is too powerful and the former Ajax man is offside and his shot is wide. Lukaku could have had a shot.
Sterling is tripped by Alonso near the corner flag and the Spaniard is booked. The resulting freekick from De Bruyne is headed clear by Sarr.
CLOSE! Kepa races off his line and his clearance off his shin hits Azpilcueta and goes behind for a corner. The set piece is gathered by the keeper.
City have started well with their passing but its been a scrappy start from the visitors who are looking for the ball direct to Lukaku.
CHELSEA BACK THREE:
Sterling gets behind Chelsea's back three but is forced to retreat and the move breaks down. It looks to be Silva, Sarr, Rudiger with Azpilcueta and ALonso as the fullbacks.
KICK OFF: We are underway at the Etihad.
Five minutes until kickoff!
PEP HITS BACK:
Guardiola has responded to the latest explanation offered for Manchester City’s Premier League domination.
Tuchel recently cited this as one of the main reasons for the defending champions being able to pull clear again, saying: “They did not suffer from Covid as we did over many weeks, so this is a huge difference.”
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk echoed that sentiment, claiming that “you also need a bit of luck at this stage”.
Pep's response is: "If they believe it’s the reason why then maybe, maybe.
"Sometimes it’s the money that we have, sometimes it’s Covid. I don’t know.
"What can I say? But the pandemic is all around the world and everywhere there is the virus.
"We are exposed every single minute and day to getting it. We have had a lot of cases and injuries. We played Aston Villa with 11 players in the first team. For the last six or seven games we’ve had four or five Academy players on the bench. We are in the same situation as all other clubs."
Man City are 10 points ahead of second-placed Chelsea so Tuchel's side will feel they need a win today to stay in the title race.
The Blues are a point ahead of Liverpool. who have a game in hand.
Two of Manchester City's title-winning stars from 2001/02 are backing the current crop to seal the 20th anniversary of their triumph in fitting fashion by lifting the Premier League title.
Stuart Pearce and Kevin Horlock were key parts of the squad assembled by Kevin Keegan who blitzed the First Division two decades ago, racking up 99 points and scoring 108 goals along the way.
Both name the campaign as among the most treasured memories from their storied careers and Pearce has no doubt Pep Guardiola's side will add another title to the club's collection come May.
Chelsea make five changes to the team that beat Spurs in midweek and welcome back SIlva and Kante from isolation.
Alonso, Pulisic and Ziyech start while Mount, Werner, Hudson-Odoi and Jorginho drop to the bench.
Christensen is out with Covid.
PEP RINGS THE CHANGES:
Man City make six changes to the side which beat Swindon Town in the third round of the FA Cup last week.
Grealish, Foden Sterling, Stones and Laporte return and goalkeeper Ederson replaces Steffen.
