FT

That's it! West Ham have won a tight game 1-0 and move up to fourth in the league.

90+2'

Spurs are out of ideas. Son lobs a hopeful long cross into the box, but Fabianski comes out to gather to huge cheers.

90'

More changes. Dawson replaces Bowen as West Ham look to protect what they have, Bergwijn replaces Moura as Spurs try to make something happen up front.

We'll have a minimum of three additional minutes.

88'

Antonio is one of the best out balls in the Premier League. West Ham win it deep again and find him in space down the right. He keeps possession, takes a chunk off the clock and wins a throw-in for his team deep in the Spurs half.

85'

We're treated to a belting foot race between Son and Bowen, fully 60 yards down the left, as Son initially loses the ball but gets back to regain possession for Spurs. Breathless stuff there.

85'

Two Tottenham changes, as Gil and Lo Celso replace Reguilon and Ndombele.

For West Ham, Benrahma is hooked and on comes Lanzini.

83'

Almost a chance for West Ham, as Spurs stop playing assuming the ball had gone out on the left. Antonio keeps playing, picks it up and plays a ball into the area for Benrahma. Lloris is out to smother the shot from a wide angle and Spurs scramble clear.

81'

Changes are incoming for Spurs, who are having all of the but doing very little with it.

78'

It's all Spurs now, as West Ham look to defend what they have and play on the break.

74'

Now then, what have Tottenham got in response? West Ham closed it out at Everton after scoring at a similar juncture, and will be looking to do so again.

72'

GOAL! West Ham United 1 (Antonio 72) Tottenham Hotspur 0

It's there! Cresswell takes the corner from the left, an outswinger to the front post. It clears everyone there and finds Antonio on the edge of the six yard box, who throws out a leg and shins it into the bottom corner!

71'

GOOD SAVE! Reguilon gives the ball away carelessly to Fornals on the edge of the area. Fornals shoots, it deflects off Dier and Lloris tips the ball over the bar for a corner.

69'

Spurs engage in a bit of keepball around the West Ham box. It eventually gets to Kane, who barrels through two challenges but loses it in the third inside the area.

67'

A few minutes of not much at all; this match is on simmer, and really needs a goal or some kind of energising substitution to liven it up a bit.

63'

Rice breaks forward from the left, but delays his pass through to Antonio too long and it's eventually pulled back for offside. That was a rare chance for West Ham to get in behind.

62'

West Ham get a free kick on the left corner of the Spurs area. Cresswell takes it, but it's a poor delivery and Spurs clear.

59'

We've got a brouhaha, as Romero and Fornals clash with the former giving the latter an earful after a tackle on the left. There's pushing, shoving and posturing before Romero is shown a yellow card.

57'

Rice loses the ball on the edge of the Spurs area, and the away side break rapidly. Romero bombs forward, all the way into the West Ham half, and finds Kane on the right. Son is free at the back post, but Kane's low cross is poor and Fabianski gathers. Spurs' play has just lacked the pace to make it truly incisive today.

56'

Ndombele leads a dangerous break for Spurs. He tries to coax a ball through to Kane in the area but Ogbonna reads it well, timing his interception perfectly and clearing the danger.

52'

Spurs have started well in the second half. Skipp and Kane gallop away down the right, before the former miscues his cross straight into the hands of Fabianski.

50'

Oh what a chance for Spurs, who cut West Ham right open with a precise move. Reguilon gets free on the left of the area and has Skipp unmarked on the edge of the six yard box. It's a boomed cross from Reguilon rather than a measured one, and it flies behind Skipp and away to safety,

47'

A lovely, raking pass from Skipp puts Ndombele in behind Cresswell on the right. Ndombele tries to square it to Kane in the middle, but Fabianksi dives on the cross.

2ND HALF

We're underway again in Stratford.

HT

That's half-time.

45'

We'll have a minimum of one additional minute.

44'

GOOD SAVE! Moura breaks for Spurs and finds Reguilon on the left. He hangs a cross up to the back post where Kane rises above Cresswell to thump a header at goal, which Fabianski tips over the bar.

41'

Antonio bounces Romero off a loose ball again, and he's suddenly free on the right of the Spurs area. He cuts across Dier and screws a shot well wide of goal when a pull back looked the better option

40'

CHANCE! Reguilon crosses into the box with his weaker right foot. Ndombele is completely unmarked, but can only plant a weak header straight at Fabianski.

37'

Ogbonna wipes out Ndombele in the middle of the field and is booked.

36'

Romero lasers a 50 yard pass to the hitherto anonymous Kane on the left of the West Ham area. Kane controls it perfectly and tries to jink his way past Zouma, who isn't having a bar of it and pokes the ball to safety.

35'

CHANCE! Cresswell gets the ball on the left as West Ham break again. He finds Fornals, who swings in a vicious cross to the back post. Soucek gets up, but glances his header wide of the far post.

33'

West Ham get forward, and Soucek lays off a bouncing ball to Johnson on the right of the area. Johnson puts his foot through the half-volley, but slashes it yards wide of the near post.

31'

Antonio gets frustrated and brings down Lucas Moura, as Spurs continue to knock it around. It's nice passing, but it's all very passive. There's a real lull in the game at the moment.

28'

Spurs have taken over possession of the ball in the last ten minutes, although they're not puncturing West Ham's defensive shape with it as yet.

25'

CHANCE! Son lays a ball off to Ndombele, and sprints off into the West Ham box thereafter. Ndombele finds him with a slide rule ball, but from a wide angle Son scuffs his shot straight at Fabianski. That's the best move of the game so far.

22'

Ouch. Soucek catches Hojbjerg on the knee with his studs, and it's a booking.

20'

Spurs break up the other end through Son. After a scramble in the West Ham area he pokes the ball to Moura, who twists near the penalty spot and slices a shot well wide of goal.

19'

West Ham break, and Antonio wins a ball in the Spurs area despite being second favourite to Romero. His attempted lay-off breaks to Fornals on the edge of the area, but he can only skew a half-volley several yards wide of the far post.

16'

Fornals lofts a ball in behind for Antonio. It's fractionally overhit though, and Lloris rushes out to boot it clear. Spurs are lucky there, as with a more accurate ball West Ham were clean through.

14'

From a seemingly trapped position out in the left corner, Antonio gets a cross into the area. It finds Soucek on the penalty spot, but he shanks a wild half-volley over the bar.

11'

Ndombele has gone down in the area after he and Zouma arrive at a loose ball at the same time. It's reviewed, but it's not a penalty even though Ndombele got to the ball first. Yet what is a penalty these days? One of the great existential questions of our time. It wouldn't have been a total surprise had Tierney trotted over to the screen and reversed his decision there.

11'

Hojbjerg has a yahoo from 30 yards out. It's a sweet, clean strike, but it's straight at Fabianski.

8'

Bowen dances into a bit of room on the edge of the Spurs area, but can't get his shot away. Moments later he gets away down the right, where his clipped cross to the back post finds Fornals in space. Fornals scissor volleys a low effort at goal, which Lloris comfortably pushes away.

5'

West Ham have settled first here, and are pinging it around nicely as Spurs try to press them high.

2'

Almost a chance at the back post from a corner by West Ham, as the ball clears an air-flap from Lloris and breaks out to the edge of the area off the heel of Soucek. It falls to Benrahma, but his shot is blocked.

Peep! Off we go.

14:00

Before kick-off, the players take the knee. There is no room for racism in this life.

13:56

Bubbles the song and bubbles the actual things are all around the stadium as the players troop out to get things going.

13:51

Our referee for this gloriously sunny autumnal afternoon of entertainment is Paul Tierney. There's a lively old atmosphere in Stratford right now.

13:44

Moyes is bullish in his interview with Sky Sports, extolling the virtues of what has now established itself as his starting eleven. Nuno? He's enjoying watching his team gel. We've got two settled sides here, both playing well, and it should be a good one.

13:38

This fixture goes way back, all the way to 1898. Tottenham have the wood over their hosts today, with 98 victories to 65 and 52 draws.

13:34

Is there a streakier team than Spurs in the Premier League? Their mini-runs this season so far have been won three, lost three and then won two, most recently that 3-1 over Newcastle at St James’ Park last Sunday.

13:27

It’s been a good week for the Hammers. Their 3-0 win over Genk in the Europa League on Thursday backed up an impressive win at Goodison Park last weekend, where Angelo Ogbonna struck late to give West Ham all three points.

13:20

Tottenham played the ressies, and paid the price for it, in their midweek defeat at Vitesse Arnhem. The firsts are back in force today, as manager Nuno Espirito Santo reverts to the team that beat Newcastle a week ago.

13:15

After being rested in the week Michail Antonio returns up front for West Ham, who are unchanged from their victory at Everton last weekend.

Good afternoon, and welcome to live coverage of West Ham United versus Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

So, who fancies a spot in the top four? West Ham currently sit seventh in the league while Spurs are fifth and if we get a winner here today then, if only for a few hours perhaps, that lucky side will get to breath in the air of the Champions League places. On top of that, it’s a derby in that London and a clash between two sides on an upswing in recent matches. It’s usually lively between these two; last season, West Ham blagged a point at Tottenham despite being 3-0 down with eight minutes left.

A good game in store then? Here’s hoping. Team news from the London Stadium is on the way.
