Frank Lampard's already slim hopes of retaining the manager role at Stamford Bridge suffered another blow after a 2-2 draw at home against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon. Speaking after the match, Lampard criticised the lack of speed with which his team played, and he was unhappy with the way that the side conceded their goals against their opponents.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard said he was “not happy” with Chelsea playing “too slow” in their 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Lampard’s miserable second run as manager at Stamford Bridge continued on Saturday with another underwhelming performance from his side, who are on their third manager for a single campaign.
Raheem Sterling was a rare bright spot, scoring twice to help earn a point for the mid-table Blues.
However, it was not enough to grab a win for his team, and speaking to the BBC, Lampard said the struggles were familiar failings for the side.
He said: "The second half was ours, control of the game was ours, obviously, in terms of possession, but in the first half we weren't dynamic enough in the top end of the pitch.
"Everything we spoke about at the start of the game, it was too slow. Unfortunately, it seems to be intrinsic here at the minute where we play a lot of passes but they are not to break lines or to threaten the opposition in the top end of the pitch.”
Lampard also bemoaned the pace of the attack, saying: “Obviously, their two goals, you are not happy with because it's a long throw for the second one and the first one comes from a header from a nothing ball into the box.
"From our point of view, we lose half the game by starting slow. We start the second half, overlap and score and make sprints, movements and we score. Whether it's a fair result I don't know, but we have to do more to win the game.”
