Premier League live: Brilliant Brentford put woeful Man United to the sword with four first-half goals

The Bees have only managed to secure one point in their last six top-flight encounters with the Red Devils. Indeed, the last time United lost away to Brentford was back in 1938 in the FA Cup fifth round.

The main line from the team sheet is that Cristiano Ronaldo makes his first start of the new season as ten Hag makes just the one change from the defeat to Brighton. That means Eriksen does indeed feature against his former club while Scott McTominay drops out.

As for Brentford, Thomas Frank makes two adjustments from the 2-2 draw with Leicester City. Mads Roerslev and Josh Dasilva come in with Vitaly Janelt and Yoane Wissa missing out.
