Celtic to face Rangers in Scottish Cup semi-finals

Celtic will face Rangers for only the second time since 2012 after the Glasgow rivals were paired together in the last four of the Scottish Cup.

Dundee United will meet holders Inverness Caledonian Thistle or Hibernian in the other semi-final on the weekend of April 16/17 at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
Hibs and Inverness drew 1-1 at Easter Road on Sunday, forcing a replay in Inverness a week on Wednesday.
Celtic enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over Greenock Morton earlier on Sunday as the Scottish Premiership leaders progressed to the semi-finals for a second straight year.
Speculation about the club's Norwegian manager Ronny Deila's future intensified after the 0-0 draw against Dundee in midweek cut their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to four points.
Despite a disgruntled Celtic support voting with their feet and Celtic Park a quarter full, Celtic were impressive in bludgeoning Mortoon as goals in the first-half from Leigh Griffiths, Gary Mackay-Steven and Callum McGregor set up a meeting with Rangers when the draw was made just before 5pm on Sunday.

Mark Warburton's Rangers overwhelmed Dundee 4-0 at Ibrox on Saturday with Dundee United completing a 3-2 win at Ross County to progress.
Celtic last met Rangers in the Scottish Premiership four years ago before their fierce city rivals were liquidated and forced to begin life again in the Scottish Third Division.
Celtic were also 2-0 winners over Rangers in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals 13 months ago.
