Celtic kicked off their pre-season with a convincing victory over Queen's Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
Four Bhoys players got on the scoresheet, including triallist Andrea Capone, who saw his long range effort open the scoring for the SPL champions midway through the first half.
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink missed out on a hat-trick after netting twice from open play but missing an earlier penalty.
New signings Scott Brown and Scott McDonald also opened their Celtic accounts, while Kieron St Aimie hit back for QPR.
Capone, 26, increased his chances of a move to Parkhead from Cagliari after QPR keeper Jake Cole couldn't keep out his 22nd minute strike from distance.
The goal cancelled out Cole's earlier heroics, after he parried Venegoor of Hesselink's 10th minute penalty.
The R's best chance in the first half was a Martin Rowlands free-kick, which he hit just wide.
Just after the break QPR's new striker Dexter Blackstock, signed from Southampton, headed wide from six yards.
Vennegoor of Hesselink then drove in a good strike from an acute angle in the 54th minute, before pouncing from close range two minutes later.
St Aimie found the bottom corner in the 65th minute, soon after Celtic boss Gordon Strachan had made his first three substitutions.
The game concluded in muted fashion after both managers made several substitutions
