Parma close on Petr

Parma are close to capturing the signature of Czech under-20 international Radek Petr from Banik Ostrava, according to the goalkeeper's agent.

The 'keeper attracted interest from scouts around Europe at the under-20 World Cup in Canada, where he helped his side reach the final, and his agent revealed that a move to the Ennio Tardini is drawing near.

"We are sorting out the last details, some technical details. At 90% it is done though," David Nehoda told daily Sport.

Petr is expected to play in a back-up role behind first choice 'keeper Luca Bucci next season.
