The Honduras international has also not ruled out a move to Spain, despite admitting that he has turned down offers from Valencia, Sevilla and Real Madrid in the past.
Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has admitted Suazo has a clause in his contract allowing him to move on should a suitable offer be submitted, but it does look like he is going to lose his prized asset in the summer.
"My initial aim is to help Cagliari secure their Serie A future as soon as possible, then we will see what offers materialise," Suazo told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
"[With Inter] we are talking about a great club with lots of championships to their name, of course I would go," he said.
Suazo also said that he would find it very hard to resist any offer from Roma saying: "who would not want to play with Totti?"
The Honduran talked about how he could have gone to Sevilla and Valencia in the past but felt the conditions were not right, and he also revealed that there was interest from Real Madrid in January.
"It was around the time that Ronaldo was going to Milan, and Madrid tried to sign me as a replacement," he admitted. "But I couldn't leave Cagliari halfway through the season."
Suazo says he would like to stay in Italy, but has also refused to rule out finally making a move to La Liga.
"I consider this [Italy] to be my country, and I am happy to play here, otherwise I could go to Spain as they always want me there and I cannot always say no."
