The Portuguese superstar was unveiled to the world’s media on Monday evening in Turin, capping a day dubbed by the Serie A giants as ‘CR7 Day’.
Ronaldo had plenty to say after a drawn-out move culminated in him being paraded to the Juventus fans in the biggest transfer of the summer window, and the 33-year-old says he remains motivated to reproduce the feats achieved during his time at Madrid.
He told a packed press conference: "Juventus is one of the best teams in the world. It was a long-time decision I made. An easy decision for the size of the club and a very important step for my career.
"I'm a person who likes to think about the present. I'm still very young and I always liked the challenges, from Sporting, to Manchester and now Juventus. It's a challenge, and I'm very prepared. Things will go well, I'm quiet. Players of my age usually go to other countries with all due respect.”
Ronaldo has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at the Serie A club having ended his nine-year stay at Real, where he scored an extraordinary 451 goals in 438 games.
The former Manchester United forward won four Champions Leagues, two La Liga titles and two Copa del Reys during his time at the Bernabeu.

But Ronaldo is now focused on writing a new chapter in his career, with his sights now firmly set on helping Juventus retain their domestic dominance.
"At this point in my career playing in such a big club makes me happy," he continued. "I thank Juve for the great opportunity they have given me. The story at Real was brilliant, I thank the fans, but now I want to dedicate myself to this new phase of my life.
"I can't wait to play. I am very motivated and I want to show the Italians that I am a player of the highest level.”
Juventus last won the Champions League in 1996, and Ronaldo’s arrival has filled fans with excitement that Europe’s most coveted prize will soon return to Turin.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner will wear the No 7 shirt - vacated by Juan Cuadrado - with the club shop selling in huge numbers since the transfer was announced on July 10.
He added: "I want to leave a mark in the history of Juve. I am very pleased with this challenge.
"Serie A is a tough, very tactical championship. My career has not had anything easy and I am one who likes to get out of my comfort zone.
"I am confident in myself, in the companions and in the club. I hope I can give the best response on the field during matches, that's what I can do. I hope I can take them to an even higher level."
