That should be just about it. What a result this is for the visitors!

Sandro gets his head to a corner, but his effort takes a deflection off Rebic and squirrels narrowly over the bar.

Dybala curls a shot wide after a great run across the edge of the box.

Dybala goes close for Juve. This game is lost but a goal could still have big implications for the top four race.

If this game does finish 3-0 then it’s massive for Milan.

This is such a massive result for Milan and they are fully worth their lead. After a slow start to the game they have been the more threatening side throughout and have also seen a penalty saved don’t forget.

There may be no fans in the ground but you can almost feel the tension out on the pitch. The players know just how important this game is.

Juve are running this game now, heaping pressure on Milan as they push hard for an equaliser that could have big implications in the top four race.

Out of absolute nowhere Ronaldo skips into space for a shot on the edge of the box, but his effort flies over the bar.

Zlatan’s night is over. He’s picked up a knee injury by the looks of things and is forced to make way.

Can Juve use that save as a springboard to get back into this game? They really need to, a Champions League spot for next season could be at stake right here.

SAVED! Kessie has been brilliant from the spot all season, but Szczesny guesses the right way and makes a crucial save.

PENALTY! The referee has given this and it’s a huge moment. Chiellini can’t believe it and you have to feel a bit of sympathy with him – the arm was outstretched as he lunged in to clear, but it’s very difficult for him to have done anything else given the motion he was making.

Diaz thinks it’s a penalty as his shot crashes into the arm of Chiellini. VAR will take a look at this.

The game is being played at a far higher tempo since the interval, which will probably suit Juve more.

That’s more like it from Juve. They carve Milan open right at the start of the second half and Donnarumma is forced to make a fine stop to deny Bentancur.

  • 2nd Half

Here we go then. As it stands Juventus will be dropping outside the Champions League qualification positions this evening. There is a lot to play for!

  • End of 1st Half

That’s the end of the first half, with Milan 1-0 up thanks to Brahim Diaz’s strike just moments ago. The ball got extremely close to catching his arm in the build-up, but it didn’t and the visitors have a crucial lead in the race for the top four.

But no, the goal stands (much to the dissatisfaction of the Juve bench).

Hang on a minute, VAR is checking for a handball…

GOOOAAALLL!!! Diaz curls in a beauty and Milan have the lead! It all came from a free-kick cross that Szczesny palmed straight to Diaz on the edge of the box, and the attacker kept his composure to cut inside and bend a shot home. 1-0!

Theo gets clear down the left again for Milan and looks for Zlatan at the far post, but his cross takes a deflection and floats through to the keeper.

Milan’s strong finish to the half continues, with Ibrahimovic heavily involved now and Theo causing plenty of problems with his bursting runs from midfield.

Sandro makes a crucial clearing header as Theo crosses for an unmarked Ibrahimovic. That looked like being a certain goal had the Juve defender not got his head to it.

Frustrated by a lack of the ball, Zlatan has dropped a bit deeper in the last couple of minutes and he’s transformed the game, linking everything up nicely for the visitors.

Giorgio Chiellini vs. Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Juventus Turin vs. AC Milan

Donnarumma came for that corner, flapping at thin air, leaving his goal wide open. It’s not been a vintage night so far for the Milan keeper.

Oh my word, now that is a chance. A Juve corner floats all the way through to the totally unmarked Chiellini at the back post, but he heads wide. The reaction from the veteran says it all, that was a golden opportunity.

Donnarumma comes racing out of his box to try and intercept a through-ball and gets absolutely nowhere near it. Thankfully for the keeper his centre-backs were alert to the danger too and bail him out.

Ronaldo gives the ball away and it breaks for Çalhanoglu in a terrific position. He doesn’t control it first time though, missing an opportunity to slip in Zlatan, and Juve race back to get numbers behind the ball. A bit of a waste that.

Alexis has AC’s first meaningful effort of the match, curling a shot straight at the keeper after good work by Theo to open Juve up.

It’s not that hard to tell why these teams haven’t been able to match Inter this season, the standard is sloppy.

Rabiot nips in behind the Milan defence and gets a shot away from an angle, but his effort is blocked. That’s probably the best attempt of the night so far, which tells you quite a bit about the game.

Cristinao Ronaldo face au Milan AC

Nothing much from Juve’s famous number 7 yet, a few flicks and darting runs but without any real threat.

Still it’s Juventus who look the better of the two sides, with Cuadrado causing a bit of trouble down the right, swinging in some decent crosses.

Juventus have started by far the stronger of the two sides, peppering the Milan box with crosses until Chiellini gets a bit overexcited and gives away a free-kick.

  • 1st Half

Milan, kitted out in their famous red and black, get the game underway. Juve are in their usual white and black stripes.

Here we go, the players emerge from the tunnel in Turin and we’re not far from kick-off.

Juventus have lost a bit of their defensive solidity, conceding in each of their last 10 Serie A games. That means they are on their longest run without a clean sheet in over a decade.

However, this campaign has still been a significant step forward for Milan – it’s the first time they have picked up at least 69 points in a season since 2013. They finished with 72 that year.

Milan are in a bit of a bad trot, losing two of their last three. In fact, six losses in 2021 has seen them slip way off the pace set by their city rivals – AC topped the league at the turn of the year.

It’s all about the top four finish this evening for both of these clubs. They start the game level on 69 points, five points above sixth-placed Lazio with four games of the season remaining. It’s still very much in the balance.

Good evening and welcome to live coverage of Juventus vs AC Milan!
