- End of 2nd Half
Full-time: And it's over! Hellas Verona leapfrog Juventus in the Serie A table with this famous victory! It's a weekend to remember for Giovanni Simeone - his brace proves decisive and piles more pressure on Maxi Allegri, whose side has now suffered back-to-back league defeats.
Everybody is forward for a Juventus free-kick... but Verona manage to scramble clear...
Just over! Barak unloads with a shot and it's not far away! That would have put the gloss on an impressive Verona performance!
There will be FIVE minutes of added time here!
Morata takes a tumble inside the box, he's appealing for a penalty... but he's not going to get it!
What a stop! Montipo makes an incredible save to push Dybala's powerful strike away from goal! Was that Juventus's last chance?
McKennie launches a long throw into the penalty area. Chaos ensues but Locatelli fails to shoot when the opportunity was there!
It's wave after wave of attack from Juventus now as Verona's defence drops increasingly deep. Can the hosts hold on?
So close for Verona! After robbing Juventus of possession, Caprari's through ball feeds the run of Kalinic, who stays onside and has Szczesny just to beat... but he scoops it just wide of the far post!
- OffGiovanni SimeoneHellas Verona
- OnNikola KalinicHellas Verona
Simeone - Verona's two-goal hero - makes way for Nikolo Kalinic.
- OffAlex SandroJuventus
- OnLuca PellegriniJuventus
Juventus are going for broke! Luca Pellegrini comes on for Alex Sandro.
Wide! After a surging run, Morata can only screw a shot wide from a tight angle.
GOAL! Verona 2-1 Juventus (Weston McKennie): Juventus have hope! McKennie is left all alone on the edge of the penalty area and he has time to pick his spot, firing high into the top corner! Juventus have 10 minutes to try to salvage at least a point!
Caprari drives to the by-line and looks to fizz a dangerous ball across centre but Szscesny plucks it out of the air.
- Yellow cardÁlvaro MorataJuventus
Talk about taking one for the team! Gunter is booked for the most blatant of fouls on Morata to stop a counter-attack. The Juventus forward is also shown a yellow for his reaction - he wanted red!
- OffAdrien TamèzeHellas Verona
- OnDaniel BessaHellas Verona
Daniel Bessa comes on for Tameza. 15 to play!
Simeone races into a crowded penalty area but can't make anything special happen on this occasion.
Faraoni is fouled by Kulusevski and wins the free-kick in his own box to relieve some pressure on his Verona team mates.
- OnFederico BernardeschiJuventus
Arthur, who was largely at fault for Verona's first, makes way for Federico Bernadeschi.
- OffJuan CuadradoJuventus
- OnDejan KulusevskiJuventus
Dejan Kulusevski on, Cuadrado - leaving to a chorus of jeers - is off.
Play is stopped after Locatelli and Dawidowicz are involved in a clash of heads. Both should be OK to continue.
Is it too early for such a defensive switch? Time will tell.
- OffNicolo CasaleHellas Verona
- OnFederico CeccheriniHellas Verona
Federico Ceccherini is on for Casale.
- OffDarko LazovicHellas Verona
- OnBoško ŠutaloHellas Verona
Bosko Sutalo comes on for Lazovic in the first of two defensive subs from Verona.
Chiellini is left hobbling following a crunching tackle.
Juventus must be careful of Verona's pace on the counter-attack. Caprari leads the break and wins a corner after seeing his shot deflected behind.
Excellent goalkeeping from Montipo as he bravely claims Cuadrado's free-kick delivery. Juventus remain in a precarious position.
- Yellow cardArthurJuventus
After Juventus clear a corner, both Arthur and Faraoni go into the book.
McKennie almost scores with his first touch! He's left unmarked at the back post to meet the free-kick delivery and Montipo has to be at full-stretch to keep it out!
- OffAdrien RabiotJuventus
- OnWeston McKennieJuventus
And McKennie comes on for Bentancur.
- OffRodrigo BentancurJuventus
- OnManuel LocatelliJuventus
But before Juventus can take the free-kick, Allegri makes his double switch. Locatelli is on for Rabiot in the first.
- Yellow cardNicolo CasaleHellas Verona
Casale goes into the book, conceding a free-kick in a dangerous area in the process.
McKennie and Locatelli are preparing to come on for Juventus. It's a much-needed change because there are no indications that the visitors are improving.
Dybala is caught by Caprari in the process of firing another shot over the bar. He's limping a little, and if Allegri loses him, Juventus are in real trouble.
That's not far away! From the edge of the box, Dybala opens up his body and curls a shot agonisingly wide of the far post he was searching for. If anyone can make something happen for Juve tonight, it's Dybala.
Given Juve's woeful display so far, it is a surprise that Allegri hasn't made a switch in personnel at the break.
Kick-off! We're underway in the second half! It's worth noting that Verona have thrown away more than one 2-0 lead already this season, so Juventus still have hope.
- End of 1st Half
Half-time: Verona lead Juventus 2-0 thanks to a double by Giovanni Simeone. Maxi Allegri sure does have his work cut out during the 15-minute break. As it stands, they're heading for a second defeat in three days!
Dybala hits the woodwork! Veloso makes an error while trying to play out from the back and suddenly it's a 4-vs-2 situation for Juve. Morata rolls it to Dybala, who surely has to score... but he gets slightly too much lift on his first-time shot and Verona are saved by the crossbar!
A shot from a long way out! Dybala juggles the ball on the centre-circle and, having spotted Montipo off his line, tries the lob the Verona goalkeeper! It's not a bad effort but lacks accuracy.
Cuadrado is searching for the run of Morata with his pass - but it's easily cut out. Juventus have three minutes to find a goal before the half-time whistle.
A lovely little flick down the line from Morata finds Alex Sandro. With few options in the middle, he attempts a shot but can only find the side-netting.
Simeone goes for the spectacular but fails to connect with an attempted bicycle-kick. In his current form, it was worth a go.
Wide! Rabiot spreads the ball wide to Alex Sandro with a clever back-heel. He whips it into the middle, finding Dybala, but his glancing header is never going to trouble Montipo.
Over! Much better from Juve although the finish isn't there. A sweeping move ends when Dybala plays a one-two with Morata before hammering it over the bar from just inside the box.
Uncharacteristically, Chiellini takes his eye off the ball and allows it to run past him for a Verona throw-in. A clearly frustrated Allegri turns around and walks back to his seat.
Simeone's goal disallowed! Caprari bundles into Arthur and with the loose ball Simeone nonchalantly curls a shot into the top corner in similar fashion to his second. However, this time it's not going to count as the referee feels Caprari committed a foul.
- Yellow cardDarko LazovicHellas Verona
Cuadrado is back on the deck and this time the Colombian gets the decision as Lazovic is booked for the challenge.
Cuadrado feels he's fouled and in his appeals for a free-kick, stands still and allows Verona to launch an attack. It comes to nothing but Allegri will be fuming with him.
The Old Lady still have a lot of time to turn this around, but the current standings do not make for pleasant reading if you're a Juventus supporter...
Tameze clips the ankles of Morata, conceding the free-kick in midfield. Juve work it short but the attack ends in frustration.
Quite the record!
Verona have won all three of their home games since Igor Tudor was appointed manager and today is also going to plan!
Morata and Dybala combine, with the latter rifling a shot just wide from range. They need something - anything - to go in their favour right now.
Simeone got four against Lazio last Saturday; he's already halfway there today!
GOAL! Verona 2-0 Juventus (Giovanni Simeone): You aren't going to believe this! Verona are two ahead - Simeone grabs his second of the afternoon! And this one is special. From 25 yards out, he's allowed to turn into space and curl a stunning shot into the top corner!
For the third successive league game, Juventus concede first. A penny for Allegri's thoughts right now.
- GoalGiovanni SimeoneHellas Verona
GOAL! Verona 1-0 Juventus (Giovanni Simeone): Verona lead and it had to be Simeone! Juventus fail to clear their lines, the loose ball drops to Caprari who is through on goal but Szczensy makes the save. However, he can only parry it into the path of Simeone who is left with a simple tap in!
Close! Down at the opposite end, Montipo comes to Verona's rescue! Dybala races to the by-line and picks out Morata in the middle. He tries a backheeled finish but the Verona shot-stopper saves right on the line!
Save! Szczesny is called into action after Juventus concede possession in dangerous territory. Lazovic fires at goal from a tight angle but the goalkeeper won't be beaten at his near post.
Not that Verona's corner comes to anything.
Verona string together a tidy attack. Szczesny races off his line to gather an overcooked through ball but Danilo is taking no chances and concedes the corner.
Cuadrado pounces on an error from Lazovic down the right flank. He's in behind the Verona defence but slips at the vital moment!
The home supporters are making great noise. If Juve are to beat Verona today, it must be a professional performance.
We have kick-off!
A reminder of today's teams

Juventus conceded deep into stoppage-time as Sassuolo took all three points in Turin on Wednesday night. Check out the highlights below!
Despite their woes, Juventus have scored in all their last nine league away games (scoring 18 goals) and have not done better since July 2020, when they scored in 16 away games in a row.
Juventus start the day in seventh, some 13 points adrift of leaders Napoli. Victory would move them to within one point of fourth-placed Roma. Verona are 10th, three points behind the Old Lady but they've already had some standout results this season and could prove a real handful for the visitors today.
Did you know? Juventus have scored in all of their last 16 league games against Verona. They only have a longer scoring streak in Serie A against Torino (21) and Lazio (17). Juventus is the team that has scored the most goals against Verona in Serie A (103).
Allegri on Verona: "I expect a difficult game. Since they changed coach, they play in a totally different way, closer to last year, with aggression and men all over the pitch. They are in a good moment.”
“Something isn't working in these first few months in Juventus," says Samuele Ragusa from Eurosport Italy.
Giovanni Simeone - son of the Atleti boss - is Verona's star man and comes into this evening's match full of confidence after recently scoring all four goals in a 4-1 win over Lazio. He's supported by Antonin Barak and Gianluca Caprari.
Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata lead Juve's attack in the absence of the injured Federico Chiesa. In defence, Giorgio Chiellini is restored and plays alongside Leonardo Bonucci, with Matthijs de Ligt dropping back to the bench. Wojciech Szczesny returns in goal after he was rested in midweek.
