Perhaps that will prove significant by the end of the match.

Milan's great rivals have picked up all three points this afternoon with an 89th-minute winner against Torino.

The win takes them ahead of Milan, for now at least.

This fixture has been kind to the Rossoneri in recent years. They've only lost one of their last 10 meetings in all competitions.

The last time Sampdoria beat Milan was in March, 2019. That day Gregoire Defrel got the only goal in a 1-0 win.
